Answer:	Ceramic is environmentally friendly and nonstick or Teflon has longevity. They both do the same thing.

Answer:	I wash mine all the time in the dishwasher. I haven't had any problems with it. They still look brand new

Answer:	Nonstick sprays contain a mixture of what basically amounts to oil and water, which do not mix. In order to suspend these items within the container, products like PAM use an emulsifying agent like lecithin. The lecithin is what reacts with the nonstick surface and it does ruin it after a time. I get around this by putting olive oil in a spray bottle. Hope this helps!

The label does say the soft-touch handles are oven-safe up to 350 F.From the website: "Riveted soft touch silicone handles for comfortable handling; Oven safe to 350 F" The accompanying generic brochure that came with the 8 qt. stockpot: "T-Fal cookware with phenolic (plastic) handles, with or without metal inserts, or stainless steel handles with silicone inserts is oven safe to 350F/175C." The lid handle is phenolic. The glass lid is safe to 350 degrees F. From the generic brochure: "Refer to product packaging for further details on oven use." Answer:	I'm measuring the "inside" opening at 7 and 13/16 inches. That is to say I'm not including the sides of the pot, just the "open space" diameter of the pot. Great pot by the way, I love my T-Fals. Took me some time to get used to their light weight, but they heat up so much quicker than heavier pots (less energy too).

Answer:	This saucepan holds up well as long as you abide by the care instructions. I use mine quite frequently and have for over a year.

Answer:	Nope, not this one. I bought this one as a replacement to a set I bought with the Red Dot. Frankly, I never saw any point to the Red Dot, it looks the same hot or cold. This replacement pot is superior to my original one.

Answer:	If you purchased T-fal “Thermospot” cookware it will have the red spot. I’m looking at this particular pot and it is not advertised as Thermospot.

Answer:	Yes it is. The term OEM in the description means Original Equipment Manufacturer. That means it is genuine Kyocera and not an aftermarket compatible.
Question:	Is this pot round or oval? The measurements seem to be oval, but some of the pictures look round

Question:	Can I use a metal spoon to stir up the food in it
Answer:	The strainer section is 9 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high and covers the bottom 2 1/2 inches of most of my skillets up to 12+ inches. The handle adds another 6 inches to the width.

Answer:	The inside opening diameter is 10 inches. The outer dimension is 10 1/2 inches. The flat surface on the underside is roughly 7 3/8 inches.

Question:	Is the non-stick surface PTFE-free
Answer:	Old question but I will hopefully answer correctly. From the information I have gathered thus far, all aluminum products have the same or similar coating as other non-stick cookware. So, I don't know the value of using aluminum over traditional non-stick other than maybe specific considerations for heat/etc. According to a quick general search, non-stick coatings should be PTFE free. when reseraching specifically aluminum, research says the aluminmum is coasted in a layer of "oxide". Maybe that means it is a thin layer of a nonsticky metal. That is where my info ends, I can't get any more specifics. In the end I al staying away from anything saying non-stick/coating.
Question:	How deep is it
Answer:	From the top of the pan without the lid, it is 2 3/4 inches. From the top of the lid rim, it is 3 inches deep.
Question:	What is the pan's diameter
Answer:	The pan is 12" in diameter and 2 1/2" deep. I use it for a large variety of meals, but mainly for cassarole prep.
Question:	Can this pan be used on an induction cooktop
Answer:	As others have said, T-Fal has some cookware that works with induction and some that does not. I bought this one T-fal C51782 ProGrade Titanium Nonstick Thermo-Spot Dishwasher Safe PFOA Free with Induction Base Saute Pan Jumbo Cooker Cookware, 5-Quart, Black and tested it when it arrived. It works well on my induction cook top.

Answer:	This pan is oven safe to 350°F/175°C, but is not recommended for use under the broiler.
Question:	Why is this listed s a 12 inch pan but dimensions are listed as 7.7 x 9.1 x 3.6 inches
Answer:	The pan is 2-3/4 inches deep, measured from the center of the bottom to the top lip, and is 11-15/16 inches measured across the outside edges.
Question:	What is the measurement of the bottom of this pan?? Just the bottom where it's flat??? Plz someone tell me
Answer:	The measurement on the inside of the pan (flat portion only) 10.25 inches. The measurement on t the outside of the pan (the part that touches the stove grate) is 10 inches. The depth of the pan (measured from the outside) is 2.75 inches.
Question:	I read multiple negative reviews that this pan will slide or jump around on a glass top stove. Has everyone with a glass top stove had this problem
Answer:	We have a glass top stove & have had no trouble at all with this pan sliding or jumping. I don't know what kind of force someone's using to stir their food, but wow! That being said, we absolutely love this pan! It's deep enough to cook a double-portion of most of our recipes, which is why we got it. We loved it so much we ordered another one!
