Answer:	I don't know if the color would adhere. However the material is very thin. I used once on propane stove top and the bottom was burned away.

Answer:	They will work on anything one time,then you can throw them away! Teflon comes off and extert rust! Stay away!

Answer:	The question put to me is not about something I purchased. I did not purchase a perforated baguette pan. I did purchase a Doyolla 14" by 5" proofing basket. It is rattan, and I suspect it was not made in the US. The basket is great. I have not used the liner. I certainly recommend the basket. I proof loaves that I transfer into a long baker, with excellent results.

Answer:	the silver plate on some all-clad aluminum skillets (but not this griddle) is not for dispersing heat -- it is to enable the skillet to be used on an induction cooktop.

Answer:	The sides are 5/16-th of an inch (0.3125") above the bottom of the griddle.

Answer:	The anodized aluminum frying pans and the pots in this collection are induction compatable. They somehow decided not to laminate the stainless still bottom plate to the griddle like they did on the pots and frying pans. I use the all the time on my induction unit. Look at the product pictures that show them in the dishwasher and see the stainless steel bottom plate laminated on the anodized aluminum pans, but there is none on the griddle.

Answer:	No. Covers do not come with these pans. HOWEVER, they can be purchased separately anywhere that sells Cuisinart in sets or separates. I found that the cover for the Cuisinart soup pot fits the smaller frying pan and the cover for the 5 quart sauce pan fits the larger frying pan. Hope that helps,

Answer:	Maybe older versions of this pan set were not induction compatible, but I just ordered this set on 03/23/18 and it very clearly states on the retail packaging the pans came in "SAFE FOR ALL STOVETOPS INCLUDING INDUCTION" and "INDUCTION READY". I cannot verify what this means because I don't have an induction cooktop, but from this wording it sounds like it will work with an induction cooktop.

Answer:	Gail - I've looked everywhere I know and I can't find the answer. All they say about this is the surface is "Titanium reinforced Quantanium nonstick interior". PFOA and PTFE are used in making teflon. So that's not our interior. I can tell you that I've had these pans for over 2 years. They are used at least 4 times a week. I use plastic or silicon utensils and I hand wash only (Dawn). When the bottoms look burnt up, I use a bit of oven cleaner on them and they shine right up. They spread and retain the heat pretty good and I found it a pain in that the lids had to be bought separately. I hope that helps in your decision. :)

Question:	will Calphalon honor the warranty if purchased directly from Amazon
Answer:	Old question but I will hopefully answer correctly. From the information I have gathered thus far, all aluminum products have the same or similar coating as other non-stick cookware. So, I don't know the value of using aluminum over traditional non-stick other than maybe specific considerations for heat/etc. According to a quick general search, non-stick coatings should be PTFE free. when reseraching specifically aluminum, research says the aluminmum is coasted in a layer of "oxide". Maybe that means it is a thin layer of a nonsticky metal. That is where my info ends, I can't get any more specifics. In the end I al staying away from anything saying non-stick/coating.

I bought this one T-fal C51782 ProGrade Titanium Nonstick Thermo-Spot Dishwasher Safe PFOA Free with Induction Base Saute Pan Jumbo Cooker Cookware, 5-Quart, Black and tested it when it arrived. It works well on my induction cook top.

Question:	Are they dishwasher safe
Answer:	Just to clarify this comment...All non-stick pans sold in the US since 2015 must be PFOA (C8) free. However it takes PFOA to create PTFE (C4). The difference is that most of not all PHOA (C8) is burned off by the time PTFE is created. Both are man made By DuPont in Parkersburg WV and contain carbon molecules, PFOA has 8 (C8) and PTFE has 4 (C4) and both contain floride (F). While PTFE is listed as safe up to 400° it however does start to break down little by little at lower temps. There are still many unknowns about long term effects of PTFE much like PFOA was when it was being applied to materials. Lastly, while you may not be absorbing PFOA in your kitchen you are still absorbing PFOA from the plants producing PTFE because PFOA still has to be used to produce the PTFE and carbons escape into the air which eventually makes its way by rain into the water supply. Answer:	Was flat to start, warped over time and now it spins around on the glass cooktop everytime you try to stir or flip food. Extremely disappointed, I thought spending 90 bucks instead of 30 bucks i would get a long lasting product. Less than a year.

Answer:	It says not, but it could be. I will say that I only use hard plastic utensils and I keep a cloth napkin between them stacked in the cupboard to help protect them. Answer:	You want the RAISED colored ridges as seen in the photo of the bottom of the pan. Otherwise the silver aluminum contacts that glass cooktop service and leaves PERMANENT marks on the glass cooktop. You cannot get them off 100%... I learned this the HARD WAY with my last stove. It still cooks EVENLY.
