Answer:	No, it is permanently attached. If you wash it with high temperature water, as in a dishwasher, the bacteria would all be eliminated.

Question:	Is the handle blocky or rounded
Answer:	Absolutely. Best spatula I ever owned. No more melting. Great scraper too.
Question:	How long is the spatula part? (not includeing the handle
Answer:	That is a good question to raise with Rubbermaid. I don't recall a product specification sheet being part of the packaging. Since I use the spatula only occasionally, mostly with room temperature batter, I was not concerned about the possible presence of BPA in the handle.

Care Instruction: This iron cooking spatula and ladle set has been precessed anti-rust treatment under high temperature. Oil film has formed on iron surface. So don't use harsh detergent as it will damage the oil film. Wash by hand with warm water and dry it on fire. If you don't use it for a long time, please dry it on fire and then brush some cooking oil on the iron surface to avoid rusting.

If the kitchen utensil set is rusted under improper care, what should we do? Don't worry. If your utensil set is rusted, wash the rust by vinegar and dry them on fire for 2 minute and then brush some oil on the surface. Here are some tips for our iron cooking products:  1.There is some oil residue on the surface when you receive our products, please use gentle detergent and soft sponge to wash it before use. 

2.The wok is made of iron which is able to supplement iron elements needed by the human body. Not like stainless steel, the iron element is more active, so it is possible to rust. 

3.The best way to prevent rust is to use it regularly. Please use as little detergent as possible to clean and keep it dry after cleaning.

  4.It will turn from blue black to black after a period of use. This process plays a role in rust prevention. 

5.If you don’t use it for a long time, please apply a layer of cooking oil on it to prevent rust. 6. If it is rusted, you can remove the rust with some vinegar, then clean it and then dry it over fire and brush some oil.

NOTE:Due to pure manual forging, after nitriding treatment, there will be a little color difference
