The manufacturer needs to answer that question and I'd like to hear it too.

Answer:	The Bianchi Fold away is one piece. It has 2 belt loop cuts in it, so you will need to wear a belt with it. It is very durable, and is made from thick leather, but not so thick as to get in the way or silhouette your carry. It conceals nicely.
