Answer: | Do not return it. If you live in high humidity climate it needs extra coating of good peanut oil or a mix of vegetable and sesame seed oil. After I oil mine, I cover it with a plastic wrap or just a kitchen towel since I live in Texas where is humid in winter and super humid in summer. Please try it. This is an excellent wok. |

Answer: | Dont remove handle screws. I think handle is a potential design flaw. Two small wood screws holding all that weight in a hot environment. My handle started to loosen day 1. Wood screws in wood cant be perpetually retightened. Eventually the soft wood holes arent going to be able to hols screws tight. Seeminly huge design flaw in an otherwise well-crafted wok. So I wouldnt intentionally remove/loosen the screws any more than I had to. |

Answer: | Sometime it happens because of low air humidity (comparing to where it was made). Firstly, try to put wet towel onto wooden part of handle for a night. If not helps then the option is to unscrew it, put for example small pieces of paper to holes to tighten the connection. Then screw it again. Usually it works. |

You cook different foods and as they near finish, use push the food up the side to remain warm while you cook another ingredient (this is why you never want a non-stick wok - the food will slide back down to the cooking surface). You don't just load it up and stir it. That's like asking how much food will a flat electric griddle hold. It isn't about volume. You can definitely cook a meal for 4-6 people with this wok. Cooking in a wok is a continual process. |

Answer: | Seasoning versus cleaning. I season it by rubbing it down with vegetable oil and baking at a high temp for about an hour. Leave the windows open if needed but highest temp needed for the first season is about 350 degrees. Once seasoned I clean it between uses by rinsing it with hot water NO SOAP EVER, while it is still hot off the stove. I usually clean it as soon as I am done cooking and do not let food sit in it. I scrub it with a metal scrubber if it has stuff that wont come right off with a clean sponge. Then I dry it thoroughly and rub it down with vegetable oil. The key is to never use soap and if for some reason it gets rust or stuff that really wont come off, clean it thoroughly with hot water and metal scrubber then reseason. In addition, avoid cooking highly acidic foods in it. That breaks down the oil. No tomatoes, lemon or heavy vinegars if I can help it. |

Answer: | It could be, though an actual deep fryer or cooking pot would be deeper and probably less prone to spattering oil. |

Answer: | The surface is not really nonstick. This is a pre seasoned Wok, but you will need to season it again. After a couple of good "seasonings" it will basically have a non stick suface due to the oil that becomes the barrier next to the cast iron. After each use, if you apply a seasoning spray to lightly coat the cooking surface the foods will no longer stick. Some people use melted vegetable shortening then wipe it out with paper towels. There are instructions on seasoning spray or you can look up videos online on how to apply other oils. I purchased this Wok and I love it. |
