Question:	can I use this wok on electric burner--anyone
Answer:	It's not really a food processor it's a slicer & grater, I use it for slicing potatoes for gratin, making breadcrumbs, grating cheeses & that kind of thing. It is very easy to clean and parts are dw safe. I have a stick blender and a std blender. When making things that a food processor would make I use my kitchenaid mixer.
Question:	how do you season the pan
Answer:	According to KitchenAid: The KSM2FPA includes the Dicing Disc and Blade, the Dicing Disc Cleaner, and the Storage Case. These things are not included with the KSM1FPA. So, no dicing with the KSM1FPA. I have a friend who has the KSM2FPA and he absolutely loves it, especially for the dicing feature.
Question:	induction compatible? can you stick a magnet on the bottom
Answer:	KSM1FPA is white and does NOT have the dicing attachment. KSM2FPA is silver and includes the dicing attachment. So if you want to be able to slice, shred, julienne AND DICE, buy KSM2FPA.
Question:	Can i put it in the oven
Answer:	The cut goes from about a sixteenth of an inch to almost a quarter of an inch. I just used that feature last night to slice potatoes. I can't believe how fantastic this is. I had it running and dropped a potatoe in and without any pressure it sliced.This is a super item, I have used the grater a lot, works great and the slicer is great, highly recommend this!

Answer:	I use a Revereware frying pan or dutch oven lid
Question:	Is this pan scratch resistant
Answer:	I tested it with a magnet and it did not stick. So no I do not think it is induction ready
Question:	How many pounds is it
Answer:	The linings in my 2 pans flaked from aluminum underneath without ever washing while still hot. I bought 2 pans this year, used exclusively with new DI ORO non-scratch utensils, seasoned pans as advised, used only low heat and hand washed. Worked great for 5-10 times, then center of surface in both pans began to flake off and allow everything to stick to metal beneath. I am now afraid to use them since I do not know health safety of flaking material in my food.
Question:	What is the diameter of the base
Answer:	I bought one of these pans for my wife and purchased the "TeChef USA" 12" glass lid from Amazon and it fits perfectly.The model number I purchased was LID12ST. Cost me $14.99 plus shipping. Hope this helps!

I do know that it is more durable than Teflon. Like everything sold on Earth, consumers must rely on product manufacturer's description to be accurate. The customer rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars, says it all! But if chemicals are of concern, spend the money and go all aluminum.

However, we do ensure that the pans are safe and won't run the risk of harming the customer.Pyrolysis of PTFE is detectable at 200 °C (392 °F), and it evolves several fluorocarbon gases and a sublimate.
