| Answer: | I have used Himalayan pink salt for years, mostly for the ancient trace mineral content which is not destroyed by the usual heat or processing of other salts. Putting it in a salt grinder (even the cheap ones from Trader Joe's) makes using it easier but I usually just eat a few of the pieces whole, a few times a day, since this is my primary salt intake source. Without looking on the www, again, I know that many other edible salts which are over processed, including sea salt, kosher salt, table salt, iodized salt, and seasoned salt (as a side note; I use Real Salt brand for cooking because it's more consistent in salt flavor and easier to measure for baking). Consuming trace minerals on a regular basis contributes to an alkaline body, in which no diseases can live. Consuming processed foods (or over processed foods including salt) contributes to an internal acidic body, which creates an environment that contributes or creates illness and disease. Good health to you, Himalayan pink salt is one choice of many that I follow consistently to support my own diet for good health. I hope this info helps you, without making me sound like a nut. :) |

If you were to fry the donuts you may be able to make them smaller but there is no information on the box or in the instructions that states you would be able to make mini donuts with this donut maker. |

Recipes and instructions included. Instructions: Heat Aebleskiver pan on medium heat. Grease each cup using a little butter or oil or spray vegetable oil. Fill each cup 2/3 full. Cook for approximately 1 to 1 ½ minutes, each side, until golden brown. Flip with toothpick. When done, serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Best when served warm. Optional: Fill each cup only a 1/3 full with batter, place a small amount of fruit in each cup and cover with an additional 1/3 batter. Cast Iron Care: First, wash your new pan using hot, soapy water. | Answer: | I'm not sure about the white marks but I looked up the part about "whitish or grey spots" and they might be mineral (calcium) stains. I read some answers from using some lemon juice on the stains and/or a bit of dish soap and scrubbing the spots.Here is the link to the site I found. | Question: | does anyone know what oil was used by Norpro originally to season the cast iron |
| Answer: | I've had mine for over a month and have not oiled it. No sign of rust. I emailed the seller and he indicated it was stainless steel and wouldn't rust. I don't have any enamel coated stoneware so cannot answer as to whether it would scratch it. I have used it on glass pans without scratches. Hope this helps! |

| Answer: | A quick note. To those who say NEVER use dish soap on cast iron: you don't know what you're talking about. That's an old wives tale. The process of seasoning cast iron produces a polymerized coating that is chemically bonded to the pan. A little dish soap and nylon bristle brush works just fine. I've been cleaning my cast iron that way for decades. The only thing you need to do is to make sure it is completely dry. |
