Answer:	They do not work well on induction. Takes a long time and very high heat setting to heat up, compared to an all steel pan.

Answer:	Both pans are 1-7/8 deep. The 8 inch is 6-3/8 on the bottom and the 10" is 8-1/8th.

Answer:	All-clad makes a superior product. I use both Calphalon sear and slide line and All-clad non stick with one reservation, their HA 1 line. First they are made in China and they have the worst handles ever created. I am a retired Chef with over 40 years experience. I have used many different pots and pans in my career and never used a pan with such an uncomfortable handle. The way it's made it cuts into your hand when you lift it, even with out food in it. With food it's even worse. If you want to use All-clad, buy their regular line of pots, not the HA 1 series.

Answer:	You want the RAISED colored ridges as seen in the photo of the bottom of the pan. Otherwise the silver aluminum contacts that glass cooktop service and leaves PERMANENT marks on the glass cooktop. You cannot get them off 100%... I learned this the HARD WAY with my last stove. It still cooks EVENLY.

Answer:	No, you cannot. Only stainless steel products are suitable for induction stovetops. The Easy System is an anodized aluminum product which is not suitable for induction stovetop cooking.

Answer:	Yes...These are oven safe. The company included a recipe for english muffins and crumpets which describes baking them in an oven. I actually use them on a griddle to make Alton Brown's english muffins.

Answer:	I use similar rings for baking individual cakes, both using wheat flour and gluten-free flours, and to solve the problem of leaking batter out the bottom I wrap the bottom edge in a layer of foil.....like you would for a cheesecake going into a water bath. Using these on a griddle, because of the high heat directly under the ring, the batter starts baking/cooking immediately but for oven baking, as the batter sits for a longer period of time in liquid form, the foil keeps everything contained within the ring. Also I spray/coat the foil and the rings in non-stick spray to make sure it all comes out clean from the rings. Happy baking!

Question:	How does it hold up after a few months of use? How about after a year? I'm tired of no-stick pans that give up after two months
Answer:	6 years.....I received mine in 2013 as a gift from my husband. I used it at least twice a week. I am just now looking to replace it only because it is just beginning to stick a little which I think is due to operator error......that is, letting it get too hot one time too many. I am usually careful about this but occassionally it does happen. If you take care of it, hand wash and don’t jack up the temperature to instantly cook something, it will last you a long time. Until recently, It was rated No. 1 by Americas Test Kitchen for a number of years.

Answer:	This pan is 2 1/2 inches deep. Iv'e been using it for months and love it. It has worked great for everything I've used it for except frying eggs and that's because I steam then instead of turning them over. There's too much air for the eggs to steam well, so I use an old shallow pan for that. I see some of the other answers say it's only 1 3/4 " deep, but I measured mine and it's 2 1/2.

Answer:	This pan holds 2-1/2 quarts filled to the brim. It is only 10 inches wide and 2-1/2 inches deep. I replaced a similar pan but it was much deeper. I wish my new pan was bigger.
Question:	Why do the instructions say not to use these pans on Medium-High or High heat settings? Isn't that completely ridiculous and unrealistic
Answer:	Most manufacturers have abandoned PFTE (Teflon), and have switched to safer alternatives, like titanium or ceramic. These newer materials, while safer, still have the same temperature limitations, as any non-stick coating will expand at a different rate than the metal substrate. For similar reasons, you should avoid rinsing a hot pan with cold water if you want it to last a long time.
