Answer:	Oddly, it's not stamped on pots/pans nor is it listed on product brochure; however, the box says, made in china. But I must say, they are well made products. I've had my set for a couple years and bought my girlfriend one too. Like anything, if you take care and follow instructions--they will look like new and cook quick and evenly for years. But they do scratch easily of you use metal utensil...which they warn clearly against...plastic utensils are the way to go and the clean up easier than any dish you've ever had. And I should know cause I hate doing dishes--wish they were all made of this material :-)

Answer:	One of the lids will set nice on the large skillet, but does not "fit" snug. None of the lids will fit the small skillet with out hanging over the edge or falling inside the skillet.

Answer:	I do believe that the non bonded parts of All-Clad are made in China. Not 100% certain, since I bought my cookware over 5 years ago, but that is what I hear now.

Answer:	Yes, there is a very small strip on the edge (2 mm or so), which is simply the layer of aluminum between the layers of steel. Even though All-Clad states these are dishwasher safe, we always recommend hand washing your better quality knives and cookware.Chefs Corner Store

Answer:	the consensus answer I have found online is that copper core is NOT worth paying extra for. the all clad line with best temperature performance is actually the MC2, but the regular, 3 layer sandwich of SS around aluminum is the all-around winner because it is versatile (i.e. induction capable) and dishwasher safe, unlike MC2. started searching because I was contemplating purchase of a calphalon accucore set that was "deal of the day". learned the most at centurylife.org in an article about "is all-clad worth it". the answer was yes for the d3 all-clad but not for copper core.

Answer:	In all of my research before purchasing my All-Clad I have not come across the use of 304 or 316 surgical stainless, only 18/10. The Tri-ply cookware line that I have purchased (from Amazon and elsewhere) features a 3-ply design, 18/10 steel cooking surfaces, aluminum cores for the even heating, and the highly polished exterior 18/0 stainless for lasting beauty and induction compatibility. Answer:	they fit, but are not really very snug enough, a lot of steam escapes

Answer:	According to "http://www.t-falusa.com/" it is oven safe up to 350' up to one hour. It is a good set if that's what you need. If you are looking because of the one large pot don't bother with this set. Get a decent cast iron one with no plastic and use that at ANY temp for as long as you need it.

Answer:	I don't have the tri-ply, but I like the long handle on my large stove top (six burners) and the small handle to care it safely, distribute the weight on my aging wrists! Of course the small handle gets hot however as a chef, I always have a side towel in one hand and tongs in the other! Love this pot's capacity/weight ratio from steaming veg. to making a small soup.
