Answer:	If you're going to buy an expensive pot do as I do wash it by hand. The dishwasher will discolor a pot. Even if they say dishwasher safe if you want to protect your investment on the expensive part don't put it in the dishwasher buy a cheap one if you want to do that or wash it by hand. It's a pain to wash by hand but I got expensive pots and they all stay perfect hand washed

Answer:	No, it will not wok on an induction range. Look for cookware that specifically states for induction cooking. There has to be steel construction so that the material is excited by magnetic pulses. A simple magnet should tell you if they will work on an induction range.
