Answer:	When you see it counting up, it means that it has finished the cycle and has defaulted to warming mode for that period of time. It does not automatically shut off after the cycle is complete.

Answer:	The inner pan has a black Teflon coating.
Question:	Is inner ceramic pot removable for easy cleaning
Answer:	Yes, it is easily removable. It is actually 6 Liters, which is 6.3 quarts. That is what T-fal says on its site where you can order a spare pot. I'm not sure what is going on with the description here, there are many inaccuracies as if it describes another product. For example, it doesn't make yogurt and you cannot adjust the temperature below 158.
Question:	Why does this headline as a pressure fryer when the instruction manual says not to fry things in it
Answer:	It just means it is not to be used like/as a frying pan, only as a pressure cooker. As you know head/ tag/come on lines can be deceptive this one is.

The current recommendation from the United States Department of Agriculture indicates that to safely pressure can, you will need to use a vessel that is specifically a pressure canner. Answer:	It is 8.5 inches depth by 12 inches diameter.
Question:	How do I know the lid is properly closed
Answer:	I have a 6qt but I am sure they are similar. You put the lid on in the manner described in the instruction book and turn it about 3 inches and it should click into place with an audible " CLICK "
Question:	What is the warrantee on this product
Answer:	It has a 1 year warranty but I strongly recommend getting the Amazon extended warranty through Square Trade or one of the others. We love this cooker because of it's size but 2 of them broke on us just past the 1 year mark (outside manufacturer warranty). The extended warranty is fairly cheap and refunded our purchase price (prorated just a bit) with no questions asked.

Question:	Hoe does the pressure this gets compare to the standard pressure cookers? I tried InstaPot, and its pressure too low
Answer:	At 9 psi (so-called "High") and 5 psi (truly "Low"), this Presto will disappoint you much more than the the 6- and 8-quart Instant Pots. The IPs' High ranges between upper-11 psi & low-12 psi. The newest Instant Pot "Max" can reach the 15 psi that is standard for *stovetop* pressure cookers. Good luck! (Btw, I have no connection with Instant Pot, other than being a new owner of a 6-qt Duo Plus; I've also owned four stovetops over the years, all of them got up to 15 psi.)

Question:	What do they mean by "...and turn the heat down"? how far? i know all stoves vary (me personally i have a glass top) but how far do i go with this
Answer:	Once it reaches "full" pressure (constant steam) on WHATEVER STOVE YOU ARE USING you turn the heat down (meaning to get more of what I call a "slight or soft steam") for the recommended "cooking time." It depends on the time recommended for what you are cooking... so that: A) You do not over-cook what is in the pressure cooker...meaning turn it to mush... and B) That's the way pressure cookers work! (The science of which is a steady pressure within the pot for the designated cooking "time" recommended.) It's some trial and error if you're new to pressure cooking. But you eventually get the hang (or sense) of it/how they work!
Question:	does it come with a basket to keep food separated
Answer:	It has a steam basket, yes.

Answer:	The pressure cooker is well made from stainless steel. We've only had this one for about a year but it is used weekly. It should last a very long time. It is made in China.
Question:	How many canning jars can I fit in this
Answer:	I haven't used it for canning and I bought it and gave it as a gift. Please note that the 8 quart Clipso is the same diameter as the 6 quartClipso and the 8 quart is higher. I bought both sizes and gave the 8 quart as a gift. As for canning, I guess it would depend on the size and shape of your jars and if there needs to be some space between them if you do multiples. You would need to put something at the bottom of the cooker so that the jars don't sit directly on the bottom which can get very very hot and you would risk breaking glass jars. I found an aluminium disk made by Presto that cost around 35$ so you have to add that to your overall costs. If you plan to do a lot of canning, why don't you get a pot made just for canning which would include all the instructions. They are large enough and are often sold as kits with a few jars.
