Answer:	Great for scrabbling eggs or whipping up things. It doesn’t scratch the pans. But, I don’t think it would be best for flipping burgers. You could probably do it but the tongs aren’t long enough.

Question:	Is the pan good for electronic stove
Answer:	They would be fine for an electric burner. If you have a glass top surface, I would think they would be ok too. The bottom of the pan is very flat and smooth. I have a gas stove so I'm not sure if you have any special care instructions for your stove that would say not to use a metal pan, but there is nothing on the pan that would scratch the surface.

Answer:	Just tried it with a measuring cup . One cup of water fits but just up to the tippy top. Might spill over when it starts to boil or when you move it off the stove. THe picture shows the sides curved more then they actually are.

Answer:	I am a saute cook and I garuntee that if you practice enough you will be able to just flip it in the pan no extra tools required except your wrist. It's almost a quick foward-backward motion. Use a good amount of oil and let the oil heat up somewhat before you put the egg in and voilá.

Answer:	after buying a brand new Michaelangelo 10" fry pan six months ago that had this issue, i was wondering why new fry pans have a convex shape. interesting to see that cheap pans can do this by mine was right out of the box. reading reviews of so many different fry pans of that size, i'm surprised to see reviews both saying that the pans are flat and convex for the same make and model with differing review dates. being that this question was asked in 2013, i guess this is either a manufacturer design us mortals don't know about or a long-standing design issue?

Answer:	It claims to be titanium. I use mine on an induction cooktop with no problems, therefore it cannot be aluminum. It has to be some form of steel, (stainless , titanium alloy, etc) for it to work on an induction cooktop. The non stick coating covers all but the handle and the bottom of the pan.

Answer:	These pans are Aluminum!! Sadly the marketing is extremely misleading. The pan is actually Aluminum with a steel plate embedded in the base so they'll work with induction stoves. You can easily confirm this with a magnet. The magnet won't stick to sides of the pan. "Titanium" is a marketing name that refers to the non-stick coating.
Question:	are they ok for deep frying
Answer:	The inside bottom of my skillet is 7.5 inches and top is 10.25" I believe it was sold as a 10" skillet but am not sure.

Answer:	The aluminum is contained to the inside of many of these non-stuick pans . It is inexpensive and heats quickly and easily. I don't see that there should be any health concerns since the food is not "in" contact with the aluminum.

Answer:	If it is not shown in the photo or description, no lid. Lots of lids will fit this skillet though. Just check the diameter (12 inches). I bought this skillet because I wanted the spout. It comes in really handy when pouring out grease or liquids. I use one of the other 12 inch lids I already had on hand when I need to have a lid.

Use and maintenance

First time using:

Put a small amount of water in the pot, cover the bottom of the pot, turn on a low heat until it boils, then pour out the boiling water and dry the body of the pot. Use an oil brush or kitchen paper towel to coat the pot with cooking oil, heat it for 5 seconds, and let it stand until it cools naturally.



Common sense of using non-stick pan:

1. The non-stick frying pan is different from ordinary iron pans, no need to preheat for cooking. It is recommended to put the cooking oil first before heating.

2. Non-stick pan has good heat transfer effect, and the best cooking effect can be obtained with medium and small fire. The high fire will not accelerate the cooking speed, it will only waste energy and burn to the pot body.

3. When using an open flame, try to control the flame at the bottom of the pot to avoid burning the pot body.

4. Use heat-resistant silicone nylon spatula or wooden spatula when cooking. Sharp metal spatula are forbidden to avoid scratching the pot body.

5. It is recommended to put a little cooking oil when cooking food to help protect the coating and extend the service life of the pot.



Cleaning tips:

1. After use, it is recommended to wait for the temperature of the pot to cool naturally, and then clean it with water and a rag. Do not clean with a metal cleaning ball.

2. In case of stains, you can use hot water, detergent, and sponge for cleaning.

3. If there are more stubborn stains, you can dip a scouring pad with baking sodas and detergent, and slowly scrub with hot water.

Question:	How can you flip an egg to over easy or medium with a flat spatula or pancake turner
Answer:	Yes. Emeril's pans can be used for anything you desire to use them for. I have had mine for a while now and love them. My daughter has them also and she enjoys using them. They were made to last through any cooking. I definitely would use them for tomato sauces. FYI don't ever put tomatoes in aluminum pans. The acid will put pits in the pans and therefore ruin your sauce.
