It is heavy duty for sure; seems more like commercial cookware than residential. Since it would take a Lab and Technician to remove the coating and test its contents, no one but the manufacturer truly knows the contents of its coating. I do know that it is more durable than Teflon. Like everything sold on Earth, consumers must rely on product manufacturer's description to be accurate. The customer rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars, says it all! But if chemicals are of concern, spend the money and go all aluminum.

1.Before the first time use, please remove the packing material and all the tags, clean with detergent or warm water, then coats a thin layer of oil or other grease.

2.Cooking Tools - Plastic utensils and wooden tools are more suitable. Sharp tools will damage your pans during long time use.

3.Cleaning way - Better way: Hand washed gently with soft cloth and dry it. For cleaning of stubborn food stain, you'd better soak the pot in hot water with detergent for a period of time.

Answer:	This is the greatest nonstick pan that I have ever had. No stick ever. I did cook with oil in the pan the first couple of times, but now I don't.

Answer:	The flat bottom surface is ten inches in diameter, while the entire pan, edge to edge, is twelve inches. I would add that with frequent use, careful handling and hand washing, the pan has retained its non-stick quality. With every other non-stick I've owned, several rather expensive, the degradation of that quality was more or less significant after this much time and use, contrasted with this one. It's sturdily made, coated inside and out, and except for the expected signs of heat-induced staining on the bottom, I'm pleased with the purchase. This pan is solid, weighty, with the right sloping angle for flipping cooking food, and an edge lip to ease pouring out contents. Answer:	It seems clarification is needed. You asked, specifically, if using this non-stick pan on a ceramic cooktop AT MAXIMUM HEAT SETTING would warp the pan. That's not the condition of using it, this pan, "all the time on a ceramic top...no warping at all." Up to MedHigh (that will vary depending upon pan and non-stick material) heat is typically safe. I repeat, then, that non-stick materials typically do NOT hold up when subjected to higher/highest heat settings, though the pan itself might not warp. I suggest you do some independent research into the safety of non-stick materials and how they react to temperature extremes. There is a plenitude of such information on the internet.

Answer:	I have had this pan since august and I am still in love and would recommend to anyone. Please not this pan the non stick is not smooth but bumpy, this is normal and if you clean properly and use the right tools you should have no problems.

Answer:	I have 2 pans, haven't had that problem, there fairly new. Sounds like there might have been another piece behind the bracket? I would take the screw to Home Depot or Lowe's and tell them you want the same screw 1/8 to 1/4 inch longer and see if that works. I have done that with older pots and it works and for .99cents it's worth trying. An old hangman told me 40+ years ago "Never pick up a pot or pan with something in them, another pot, dishes, etc. by the handle." Went through several pots and pans until his advise sunk in..

Adam Ried declared the non-Pro skillet in the Youtube video "The Best Nonstick Skillets". Subsequent ATK tests used the PRO version. They're priced at 39.99 and 59.99 respectively and both being recommended is what lead to the confusion.

Question:	For those of you who use this pan frequently & 2 yrs or more, how is it holding up? any flaking or issues
Answer:	I've had this oxo 12" oven-safe almost (purchased here in Feb/2018) three years and now seeing little, pencil-point size flecks that are removed with a fingernail. I only hand wash (too big for DW) and only use Dawn with a dishbrush or softscrub sponge. I'm going to reach out to Oxo but may replace. I don't know what the material is but it can certainly enter the cooked food. Its a great pan for oven meals but I would expect this from something much older and usage longer.

Answer:	I found it easier to mix eggs in a bowl with seasoning and pour half of the mixture in each half of the pan already warmed on the cooktop. The onion, meat, mushrooms, etc are then added to each half of the pan and topped with cheese. As the omelet starts to cook, the pan is closed and cooked an additional time to complete cooking. At various times in cooking, the pan is flipped top for bottom to cook each half. When it is through cooking, the top half is opened and a plate is placed over the pan. Turn the pan and plate so the omelet falls out of the pan and on the plate when the pan is removed.
