Answer:	If you choose to wash the griddle in the dishwasher, the bottom of the griddle will likely discolor due to the caustic nature of the dishwasher detergent. A gray residue may also form on the griddle bottom which may transfer onto towels and/or skin. Answer:	Yes and No.But for the most part, Yes. It's not 100% even, but it's more even than my previous two griddles (one a different Presto model and I forget the brand of the other). It cooks evenly enough. I use it on a daily basis to fry about a dozen eggs.

Answer:	If you have the 07061 griddle, the cooking surface is 22 x 11.5 inches (without handles), the full griddle is 2.5 inches high, 26.25 inches long, and 11.5 inches wide. Question:	How many standard size grilled cheese can you fit on this griddle? I cook for 16 people once a week so size is a big factor
Answer:	I just measured, using a slice of bread, and you can get (snugly with no space in between sandwiches) 12 sandwiches. BUT, like anything, doing too many at once may not work. You could DEFINITELY fit 8, feed half the group you make food for and then make 8 more. It also comes with a really neat little instruction book that tells you what temperature to cook certain food at. Grilled Sandwiches get cooked at 325-350 degrees for 5-10 minutes. The griddle is 22 inches long and can accommodate a lot of food at once.
Question:	Is the non-stick surface PTFE and PFOA free
Answer:	According to Presto Customer Service the only model they have that is PTFE and PFOA is model 07115, which is a skillet versus a griddle. Here is their response "Our current model, stock number 07115, is ceramic coated and does NOT have PTFE or PFOA. All other griddles do have PTFE and PFOA."

Answer:	The 07061 griddle can smoke if oils are left on and the surface is not cleaned well. Question:	Does the temperature fluctuate or the heat turn off when temp desire is reached
Answer:	The heating element controller has an indicator lamp that glows amber as the unit is warming to the desired setting; when that temp is reached, the light goes off but it will continue to maintain that temp until reset or turned off. I do not know how closely the controller is able to maintain the set point but the conductivity of the griddle is good with no noted "hot spots", and it cools rapidly when turned off. If you have an infrared cooking thermometer you could "map" out the surface for variation.

Answer:	For people who tend to be sensitive to various chemicals, they should be careful of the methylisothiazolinone preservative in this product. To quote the reputable medical reference website DermnetNZ (which stands for "Dermnet New Zealand"): "MI was found to be to be a strong allergen. It is responsible for an “epidemic” of contact allergic dermatitis (2016). MI was named Contact Allergen of the Year 2013 by the American Contact Dermatitis Society. .... Allergy to methylisothiazolinone is extremely common. The European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety reviewed the literature and in July 2015 banned the use of MI in Europe in all new leave-on products and lowered the concentration for rinse-off products; the concentration is now so low that it no longer functions as a preservative, and probably will not be used. The TGA is currently reviewing use in Australia. In 2015–16 in Australia and New Zealand, patch testing up to 20–25% of all patients tested to MI were positive. .... The allergen MI is volatile, so it can also cause airborne contact dermatitis... Early on, dermatitis may occur only on part of the exposed skin. Later, more extensive and severe whole body contact dermatitis may occur in very sensitive people. ....
