Answer:	It's not very heavy, but it does the job. The only problem I found with it is that the metal pieces that hold up the wooden handle get hot, so you have to be careful to not get burned.

The screw is a 3/4 inch flathead screw.

Answer:	The underside of this is flat, not grooved like a panini press. I use it for toasted cheese and other toasted sandwiches, and like it a lot. Just wipe off the bottom...easy to clean.

Answer:	I know nothing of the smaller griller.. However, this grill most definitely shuts off automatically after the timer has gone off. I turn mine on, set the heat, let it heat up, throw my sandwiches on and then set my timer. I’ve personally had no issues

Answer:	yes, you could use the pan for say 4 or 5 of the farmer john links. they probably would soak in a bit of grease before done. I cook two slices of bacon, cut in half, and they are usually soaking in a small amount of grease before they are done. the pan is small and grooves are shallow. overall, I like the pan because of its size.

You have to keep an eye on it, use med heat, and a small turner. I use bread that fills the pan and it comes out ok. l To clean, you want to use a nylon brush Jpan A to clean between the grids and dry right away.l
