Question:	Can't find ceiling joist. Will anchors hold this
Answer:	I would not rely on anchors in my opinion. Once you get the pots and pans up there and anything else, you will probably have too much weight for anchors. Remember ceiling joist are almost always 24” on center. It will be worth the extra effort to find them, not to mention the piece of mind. We love ours. Was well worth the money and time to put it up..
Question:	How long is the chain? I have high ceilings
Answer:	I have 9 foot ceilings and the bottom of the hooks hang 26 inches below that. It puts my pots and pans in the 6 foot range. Easy for me to reach.

Answer:	That would be a factor of the chains and the hooks you put it up wit h along with the hook to hang the pots it will hold plenty.

Answer:	I assume it would. I recommend mounting the brackets underneath the shelf, for better support. But the brackets (or at least 1) have to hit a stud. Frank

Answer:	Drill-bit size: 8mm.

Answer:	The actual shelf does not attach to the wall. First you mount the brackets. When you mount the brackets (I mounted the brackets underneath, for better support). Since the shelf is 24.5", you won't be able to hit 2 studs. I mounted, 1 bracket (the right side), but it doesn't matter which side, as long as you mount 1 bracket, to 1 stud. The second bracket, will not hit a stud (16" between studs ). For the second stud, I used the biggest toggle bolts, I could find, that would fit the 2 mounting holes, on the bracket. After you mount the brackets, the shelf screws on to the brackets, with supplied screws. When you hang your pots and pans, start with the heaviest pot or pan on the stud supported side. Then hang your pots or pans, heaviest to lightest. My has over 20 labs. Of pots and pans hanging(She used all of the supplied hooks). She also uses the top of the shelf (with the railing) for 2 stoneware pots and a electric grinders. Remember, there are 2 ways, to mount the shelf. I recommend mounting the brackets underneath. Answer:	Hello, I'm not real sure of what dimensions, you need. I will try to give you what I can. There are two ways you can mount the shelf and pot hangers. I chose the way, that uses, the triangle shaped brackets, to support the shelf from "underneath". The triangle shaped bracket dimensions are: the part that mounts on the wall(one has to be mounted to a stud) is 8 and 3/4". The part of the bracket, that juts out from the wall (it is connected to the bracket with supplied nuts and bolts) is 7 and7/8". The other end of the bracket (triangle) is 10 and 1/2". The shelf is 24 and 1/2" X 10". What I did, I took one of the brackets, to the hardware store, and bought the largest ( I think 1/2") diameter mounting hole toggle bolt, to mount on the side, that is not hitting a stud. My wife has 9 large and medium size pots and pans hanging on the shelf. She also has 2 stone ware bowls on the top. It has a railing around it. (the shelf on top of the hanging pots ).
