Answer:	The knife has hollows on BOTH sides. Two of the four product pictures on Amazon.com are misleading since they appear to show a side of the knife in questuon without the hollows. As such, these images should probably be removed from the listing since they are clearly not depictions of this particular knife.

Answer:	Yes. Typically I've seen sushi chefs using a Santoku for this, but I have cut sashimi (tuna blocks) with this meat slicer and it works fine. Thin and very sharp blade, with scalloped hollow edge helps prevent fish & meat from sticking. If you can find one for under a $100, I think it's a good deal. Shun also makes a number of Santoku hollow edge knives, from under a $100 to over $200, more traditional for preparing sushi.

The blade is 9 1/2 inches long where is starts to flare out at the handle which is where it would sit in a knife block. From that flare point the handle is 5 inches long. From its point to the very back of the handle is 14 5/8 inches. This is a beautiful knife and extremely sharp so always be very careful. A simple careless slip can leave you with a nasty cut.

Answer:	I have owned these knives for about 8 months, they are always washed in the dishwasher, I don't what the coating is made of but the knives are fantastic and show no signs of rust

Answer:	It's labeled for hair and body. Face complexion is delicate and different for everyone, so I don't know how you'd get a good answer for that. FWIW, when I wash my hair, some of the oil gets on my face, and I haven't observed any reaction good or bad to that.

Answer:	Camellia oil doesnt have a floral smell. It is a seed oil for skin care, not a fragrance oil. For natural fragrance you have to look for essential oils or hydrosols.

Answer:	I was skeptical since I have oily patches that break out and also dry patches on my face. However, in 4 months of use I can report only good results. Try it on a small area first, if you're wary, and see how it goes. I also use rosehip oil on my face and use the two interchangeably. Argan oil gives probably the most dramatic results, but I don't use it on my face because it burns terribly if it gets into your eyes. I save the argan for hands, nails, hair.

Answer:	Length of knife from tang to tip is 6 inches. Height of blade (at tallest part) is just shy of 3/4 inch from spine to blade. The blade itself is 1/8” thick at the spine, while the handle is just under 1/2 inch wide by just under 3/4 tall.
