Question:	Are the skillets non-stick
Answer:	They're not the "non-stick" like Teflon. In fact, when I first got them, I was afraid they'd be difficult to clean. Not so! Hardly anything sticks. If it does (I still haven't mastered making omelets in the frying pans), a quick soak in soapy water followed by a good hand washing cleans them right up! I'd take these over the more "traditional" non-stick any day. No worries about chemicals leaching out of a treated surface into the food since it's simply metal. Hope this helps!
Question:	I see that they sell the 10 in pan separately along with a lid. Does one of the pot lids from the set fit the 10 in pan
Answer:	The set, came with 3 sauce pans with lids, 2 fry pans and a Dutch oven with a lid. The largest lid fits the Dutch oven but does NOT fit the larger fry pan. Because of the flare of the sides of the fry pan, the inside diameter is 10-1/4" while the straight-sided Dutch oven inside diameter is 9-1/2". I hope this helps you.

Question:	can I stack the pots
Answer:	They are very hard to stack because of their lids. The lids do fit nice and tight on each pan BUT when you flip it upside down to have the handle out of the way, for a nice flat surface to stack, the lid slides off causing a tumble. We stack the pots and pans only (no lids) and place the lids on the side. It's not space friendly but they didn't compromise on these for storing ease..... Wish we could of had both
Question:	Why are mine yes-stick and black after the first use? I have been boiling them with dish washer to see if i can remove the stains with no luck at all
Answer:	The blackness is charred glazing from whatever your cooking. To prevent or minimize, heat the pan slowly with low heat and a little oil. For cleaning, Bar Keepers Friend is great. Other things you might have on hand are cream of tartar, and or vinegar. My personal favorite is using wine while the pan is still hot. Wine is an excellent deglazing tool, and depending on what you’re cooking can add flavor, if done while the food is still in the pan. Happy cooking!
Question:	Have any of you considered the multi-ply set from Cooks Standard and Tramontina? If so, what made you choose Cuisinart? I'm having trouble deciding
Answer:	UPDATE: Comparing Cuisinart, Tramontina and Cooks Standard triply clad stainless steel cookware. In checking further professional reviews, I realised that there were a couple of errors in the information in my original review, below. Tramontina is manufactured in both Brazil and China. The triply clad cookware is ALL triply clad stainless. Another model is their gourmet prima, which looks very similar, but has only the triply base. Tramontina tested out positively against both Cuisinart and Cooks Standard in three cases, and both its triply and prima models beat out Cuisinart altogether. Cooks Standard was not a contender in the latter review. The main selling point for Tramontina over Cuisinart and Cooks Standard is quality, design and efficiency. Cuisinart and Cooks Standard both have flared rims, making pouring better. Cooks Standard is thought to lack beauty. However Cuisinart’s handles are poorly designed, stay too hot and have a point which can cut into the hand. Tramontina triply only offers the flared rims on its skillets. Their Prima model offers it throughout. Regardless of that drawback, Tramontina is consitldered a superior product in the three areas tested. In view of these clarifications and additional information, I have since decided to purchase the Tramontina cookware, over the Cuisinart. I do apologize for the original review errors, and hope that this additional information is as helpful to other buyers as it has been for me! baj
Question:	Will it work on induction cooktops
Answer:	Stainless, cast iron and enameled cookware generally ok. Some cladded pans as well. Goodwill got all my old aluminium. Be cautious of sizes of the bottom of the pan. My LG induction top has three sizes and too big or too small just will not turn burner on. Perhaps as it should be, I guess. But check your cooktop's manual for any word on pan sizes.

Answer:	The Question is a good one and the answer from "diversityrox" in incorrect. The product is dishwasher safe ... I have had mine for over a years use it three time a week, wife puts in the dishwasher and it comes out looking like new on the cooking area.. The bottom is as with any cookware showing burnt marks but no damage whatsoever... I cook in the oven and on top of the grill (under 450 degrees) absolutely nothing turns out bad... Bottom line: These product and ones like it are insanely good, easy to clean and look great day in and day out... Any buyer will be pleasantly Wowed by this product. Money well spent. end of story

Answer:	Yes. However, I did trade all my metal utensils in for silicon ones. Although I can say I have mashed potatoes in this without issue (using my silicon hand masher) , I can not say if the pot would have been damaged had I tried with a steel and/or power mixer.

Actually I have used the two kinds of pans side by side, Gotham steel gave a better finish to the fried chicken. It makes the best oven meals. Best of all it cleans easily and can be put in the dishwasher.

Answer:	In my experience, it depends on how high you're cooking. At normal general temps, the handles on the pots and pans themselves are generally not too hot to the touch, but if you cook with the lids on the whole time, the lid handles will need to be removed using a potholder.

Answer:	1 lid (the largest) fits on the two biggest frying pans but the smaller lids don't fit on the small frying pans .

Answer:	The seller of this product has to be incorrect. Farberware Millenium is an 18/10 stainless steel, the 10 stands for 10% nickel. Most of the good brands are either 18/10 or 18/8. Rarely do you find 18/0 and if you do it is far more expensive.

Answer:	There is no Teflon. The aluminum inside is between a layer of stainless steel on the outside bottom of them and a layer of stainless steel on the inside bottom. In other words, if you cut the pot/pan in half, you would see three layers at the bottom, the 2 layers of stainless steel sandwiching a layer of aluminum. This is very common practice so you get the benefits of a stainless steel cooking surface with the even heat conduction of aluminum.

Answer:	Re: Use of pans in oven: Yes and no! Rcv'd the 12 pc Cook N Home cookware on 7/1/15. A small "Care and Caution" insert came in the box stating the pans can only go in the oven at temps of 350 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and the glass lids to 270 degrees. Another customer commented here the pans can be used in ovens up to 500 degrees, and the lids to 350 degrees. Being unsure due to the discrepancy I emailed NEWAY at [email protected] for clarification. They recommend to not put the pans in the oven in temps above 350 degrees, and the lids in ovens no higher than 270 degrees to protect them from discoloring. I emailed them a 2nd time asking them if using them in the oven at higher temps would damage the pans beyond the discoloration problem, and would they remain usable and cleanable? They replied "higher temps would not damage the function of the pans and they would remain usable and cleanable, but they would get discolored, probably in a rainbow type fashion". I haven't tried them in the oven myself but if you want the shiny stainless steel appearance to remain you should follow their temp recommendations of 350 degrees for the pans & 270 degrees for the glass lids. ... As for the quality and appearance of this 6 pan/6 lid set they all seem well worth the money. They are not super heavy, nor are they too lightweight. They are not as heavy as an old Farberware set I had, but they are heavy enough for home use and they are very well made. A good value for the $$. I would recommend buying them for home use. I will update this down the road should I notice anything concerning.Add'l comment: The manufacturer kindly answered both my emails the same day. Their office is in CA. The pans are made in China. The email address Amazon gave me did work but the website rerouted me to a newer website. Customer Service was very helpful and expedient.
