Answer:	I have a set of Revere Ware stainless steel, made in Clinton, Illinois and Rome, New York that I purchased in the 70's. I then got some new-fangled, non-stick Teflon. Until it scratched. I learned it then leaks chemicals into my food so I got some stuff that says I can use metal and scrubbies on it. Until it scratched. Chemical leakage again, so I started using more of my USA-made cast iron, seasoned them well, used steel wool (no soap) to clean off stuck-on food, and I got the bonus of added iron in my food. Listening to commercials, I then bought a GREEN frying pan that's guaranteed not to stick. It's ok but did stick and got scratched. Probably chemicals in my food again, as well as a white pan I bought. So I started using my Revere Ware stainless; I don't use soap on the inside unless I absolutely need to, I can soak them, use steel wool, scrape with a metal spatula, use Easy-Off if I really burn stuff on, and it's as good as new! Food rarely sticks and I use little oil to coat the bottom unless a recipe says 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so. I say buy a good brand of stainless with handles that are welded or riveted on, and you'll have them to hand down to your grandkids! I'm 70 and got these when I was 23! They have copper clad bottoms for... I don't know why! I think heat distribution. P.S. I remember they were $89 for 12" & 8" pans, 1-1/2, 2, & 4 qt sauce pans, the larger having a steamer (never knew you put veges in that!) and lids for all. I have picked up oddball pieces in thrift stores, too! Go clean, go stainless!

Answer:	Absolutely not. Please pay a bit more and avoid the trouble these will cause! These are not safe to use in any setting. Answer:	They're low in fiber, borderline obstructive. Don't eat them if you're not a women either, I hear the only way for men to get rid of the excessive amount of iron is to cut themselves. Nobody wants a bunch of men bleeding because these pots and pans are super high in iron. Sounds hazardous.

Answer:	Yes, Simply Calphalon Nonstick is oven safe but only up to 400 degrees! There are many times I will put my skillet and, at times, my large covered pot in the oven if my husband and children are not ready for dinner. Enjoy your set - I love mine and use them every day!

Answer:	We didn’t realize that it was not dishwasher safe. So, after a few washes the outer coating starts to dull and rubbed off exposing the aluminum. We started hand washing. Though the interior non-stick is still great and we still use them. Don’t wash in the dishwasher.

Question:	Is this the Pro line or just the regular? I understand that the description says Pro but the product name does not
Answer:	I had them on the glass top range. The range will be just fine but the pots get tiny scratches, but that is just by being stored. I bought mine five years ago and none of the sautee type of pans still work. They all stick now, a lot - I had to just throw two of the most used ones away and I kept only the small pan. The quality you would expect for the price is just not there. :(

Answer:	They're not the "non-stick" like Teflon. In fact, when I first got them, I was afraid they'd be difficult to clean. Not so! Hardly anything sticks. If it does (I still haven't mastered making omelets in the frying pans), a quick soak in soapy water followed by a good hand washing cleans them right up! I'd take these over the more "traditional" non-stick any day. No worries about chemicals leaching out of a treated surface into the food since it's simply metal. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The set, came with 3 sauce pans with lids, 2 fry pans and a Dutch oven with a lid. The largest lid fits the Dutch oven but does NOT fit the larger fry pan. Because of the flare of the sides of the fry pan, the inside diameter is 10-1/4" while the straight-sided Dutch oven inside diameter is 9-1/2". I hope this helps you.

Answer:	Works on induction. I have a higher-priced Wolf induction cooktop and can put any size pot on any size burner, which I like. Most low-priced induction cooktops probably do require smaller pot size on smaller burner etc..
