Answer:	I have a set of Revere Ware stainless steel, made in Clinton, Illinois and Rome, New York that I purchased in the 70's. I then got some new-fangled, non-stick Teflon. Until it scratched. I learned it then leaks chemicals into my food so I got some stuff that says I can use metal and scrubbies on it. Until it scratched. Chemical leakage again, so I started using more of my USA-made cast iron, seasoned them well, used steel wool (no soap) to clean off stuck-on food, and I got the bonus of added iron in my food. Listening to commercials, I then bought a GREEN frying pan that's guaranteed not to stick. It's ok but did stick and got scratched. Probably chemicals in my food again, as well as a white pan I bought. So I started using my Revere Ware stainless; I don't use soap on the inside unless I absolutely need to, I can soak them, use steel wool, scrape with a metal spatula, use Easy-Off if I really burn stuff on, and it's as good as new! Food rarely sticks and I use little oil to coat the bottom unless a recipe says 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so. I say buy a good brand of stainless with handles that are welded or riveted on, and you'll have them to hand down to your grandkids! I'm 70 and got these when I was 23! They have copper clad bottoms for... I don't know why! I think heat distribution. P.S. I remember they were $89 for 12" & 8" pans, 1-1/2, 2, & 4 qt sauce pans, the larger having a steamer (never knew you put veges in that!) and lids for all. I have picked up oddball pieces in thrift stores, too! Go clean, go stainless!

Answer:	I do believe that the non bonded parts of All-Clad are made in China. Not 100% certain, since I bought my cookware over 5 years ago, but that is what I hear now.

Answer:	the consensus answer I have found online is that copper core is NOT worth paying extra for. the all clad line with best temperature performance is actually the MC2, but the regular, 3 layer sandwich of SS around aluminum is the all-around winner because it is versatile (i.e. induction capable) and dishwasher safe, unlike MC2. started searching because I was contemplating purchase of a calphalon accucore set that was "deal of the day". learned the most at centurylife.org in an article about "is all-clad worth it". the answer was yes for the d3 all-clad but not for copper core.

Answer:	In all of my research before purchasing my All-Clad I have not come across the use of 304 or 316 surgical stainless, only 18/10. The Tri-ply cookware line that I have purchased (from Amazon and elsewhere) features a 3-ply design, 18/10 steel cooking surfaces, aluminum cores for the even heating, and the highly polished exterior 18/0 stainless for lasting beauty and induction compatibility. Question:	Can these pots be used on a gas burner stove top
Answer:	There is no Teflon. The aluminum inside is between a layer of stainless steel on the outside bottom of them and a layer of stainless steel on the inside bottom. In other words, if you cut the pot/pan in half, you would see three layers at the bottom, the 2 layers of stainless steel sandwiching a layer of aluminum. This is very common practice so you get the benefits of a stainless steel cooking surface with the even heat conduction of aluminum.

Answer:	Yes. 18/10 is stamped on the bottom of each piece.
Question:	Is this designed to be used on an induction cooktop
Answer:	Yes, of course this cookware can be used with conductive stoves. All cookware, without exception, can be used with conductive stoves.This cookware also works well with inductive stoves.
Question:	Since I read that these handles get hot, I was going to purchase a set of handle holders. What are the measurements of these handles
Answer:	Re: Use of pans in oven: Yes and no! Rcv'd the 12 pc Cook N Home cookware on 7/1/15. A small "Care and Caution" insert came in the box stating the pans can only go in the oven at temps of 350 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and the glass lids to 270 degrees. Another customer commented here the pans can be used in ovens up to 500 degrees, and the lids to 350 degrees. Being unsure due to the discrepancy I emailed NEWAY at [email protected] for clarification. They recommend to not put the pans in the oven in temps above 350 degrees, and the lids in ovens no higher than 270 degrees to protect them from discoloring. I emailed them a 2nd time asking them if using them in the oven at higher temps would damage the pans beyond the discoloration problem, and would they remain usable and cleanable? They replied "higher temps would not damage the function of the pans and they would remain usable and cleanable, but they would get discolored, probably in a rainbow type fashion". I haven't tried them in the oven myself but if you want the shiny stainless steel appearance to remain you should follow their temp recommendations of 350 degrees for the pans & 270 degrees for the glass lids. ... As for the quality and appearance of this 6 pan/6 lid set they all seem well worth the money. They are not super heavy, nor are they too lightweight. They are not as heavy as an old Farberware set I had, but they are heavy enough for home use and they are very well made. A good value for the $$. I would recommend buying them for home use. I will update this down the road should I notice anything concerning.Add'l comment: The manufacturer kindly answered both my emails the same day. Their office is in CA. The pans are made in China. Answer:	Only at times when a heat source (like a flame) is beneath the pan. The pan is made from metal because most metals are a good conductor of heat. Metal handles attached directly to metal sides of a metal pan would tend to conduct heat - even to bare fingers. Yes, the pan's handles get hot on a gas stove - and also on an electric stove.
Question:	Is the nonstick safe to use with metal utensils
Answer:	Although this cookware is metal utensil safe, we recommend the use of wooden, nylon or silicone tools with this cookware. Minor scratches may occur, however, will not affect your cookware’s performance.

Question:	can I stack the pots
Answer:	They are very hard to stack because of their lids. The lids do fit nice and tight on each pan BUT when you flip it upside down to have the handle out of the way, for a nice flat surface to stack, the lid slides off causing a tumble. We stack the pots and pans only (no lids) and place the lids on the side. It's not space friendly but they didn't compromise on these for storing ease..... Wish we could of had both
Question:	Why are mine yes-stick and black after the first use? I have been boiling them with dish washer to see if i can remove the stains with no luck at all
Answer:	The blackness is charred glazing from whatever your cooking. To prevent or minimize, heat the pan slowly with low heat and a little oil. For cleaning, Bar Keepers Friend is great. Other things you might have on hand are cream of tartar, and or vinegar. My personal favorite is using wine while the pan is still hot. Wine is an excellent deglazing tool, and depending on what you’re cooking can add flavor, if done while the food is still in the pan. Happy cooking!
Question:	Have any of you considered the multi-ply set from Cooks Standard and Tramontina? If so, what made you choose Cuisinart? I'm having trouble deciding
Answer:	UPDATE: Comparing Cuisinart, Tramontina and Cooks Standard triply clad stainless steel cookware. In checking further professional reviews, I realised that there were a couple of errors in the information in my original review, below. Tramontina is manufactured in both Brazil and China. The triply clad cookware is ALL triply clad stainless. Another model is their gourmet prima, which looks very similar, but has only the triply base. Tramontina tested out positively against both Cuisinart and Cooks Standard in three cases, and both its triply and prima models beat out Cuisinart altogether. Cooks Standard was not a contender in the latter review. The main selling point for Tramontina over Cuisinart and Cooks Standard is quality, design and efficiency. Cuisinart and Cooks Standard both have flared rims, making pouring better. Cooks Standard is thought to lack beauty. However Cuisinart’s handles are poorly designed, stay too hot and have a point which can cut into the hand. Tramontina triply only offers the flared rims on its skillets. Their Prima model offers it throughout. Regardless of that drawback, Tramontina is consitldered a superior product in the three areas tested. In view of these clarifications and additional information, I have since decided to purchase the Tramontina cookware, over the Cuisinart. I do apologize for the original review errors, and hope that this additional information is as helpful to other buyers as it has been for me! baj
Question:	Will it work on induction cooktops
Answer:	Stainless, cast iron and enameled cookware generally ok. Some cladded pans as well. Goodwill got all my old aluminium. Be cautious of sizes of the bottom of the pan. My LG induction top has three sizes and too big or too small just will not turn burner on. Perhaps as it should be, I guess. But check your cooktop's manual for any word on pan sizes.
