Answer:	I have a set of Revere Ware stainless steel, made in Clinton, Illinois and Rome, New York that I purchased in the 70's. I then got some new-fangled, non-stick Teflon. Until it scratched. I learned it then leaks chemicals into my food so I got some stuff that says I can use metal and scrubbies on it. Until it scratched. Chemical leakage again, so I started using more of my USA-made cast iron, seasoned them well, used steel wool (no soap) to clean off stuck-on food, and I got the bonus of added iron in my food. Listening to commercials, I then bought a GREEN frying pan that's guaranteed not to stick. It's ok but did stick and got scratched. Probably chemicals in my food again, as well as a white pan I bought. So I started using my Revere Ware stainless; I don't use soap on the inside unless I absolutely need to, I can soak them, use steel wool, scrape with a metal spatula, use Easy-Off if I really burn stuff on, and it's as good as new! Food rarely sticks and I use little oil to coat the bottom unless a recipe says 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so. I say buy a good brand of stainless with handles that are welded or riveted on, and you'll have them to hand down to your grandkids! I'm 70 and got these when I was 23! They have copper clad bottoms for... I don't know why! I think heat distribution. P.S. I remember they were $89 for 12" & 8" pans, 1-1/2, 2, & 4 qt sauce pans, the larger having a steamer (never knew you put veges in that!) and lids for all. I have picked up oddball pieces in thrift stores, too! Go clean, go stainless!

Answer:	You must be using it wrong. Practically all swivel peelers have swiveling blades (lol). That makes them much easier to use at a rapid pace to take up less time peeling.

Answer:	I would say no because the sharp edges are too close together which is one reason why this is a great peeler. The corn kernels are too tall and would just mush. There are other much better tools for stripping fresh corn from the cob. This one is great for peeling but not stripping corn kernels.

Answer:	I too have RA and the grip and the ease of peeling is perfect for this painful condition. I can't say enough positive things about this peeler. Question:	can I stack the pots
Answer:	They are very hard to stack because of their lids. The lids do fit nice and tight on each pan BUT when you flip it upside down to have the handle out of the way, for a nice flat surface to stack, the lid slides off causing a tumble. We stack the pots and pans only (no lids) and place the lids on the side. It's not space friendly but they didn't compromise on these for storing ease..... Wish we could of had both
Question:	Why are mine yes-stick and black after the first use? I have been boiling them with dish washer to see if i can remove the stains with no luck at all
Answer:	The blackness is charred glazing from whatever your cooking. To prevent or minimize, heat the pan slowly with low heat and a little oil. For cleaning, Bar Keepers Friend is great. Other things you might have on hand are cream of tartar, and or vinegar. My personal favorite is using wine while the pan is still hot. Wine is an excellent deglazing tool, and depending on what you’re cooking can add flavor, if done while the food is still in the pan. Happy cooking!

Answer:	UPDATE: Comparing Cuisinart, Tramontina and Cooks Standard triply clad stainless steel cookware. In checking further professional reviews, I realised that there were a couple of errors in the information in my original review, below. Tramontina is manufactured in both Brazil and China. The triply clad cookware is ALL triply clad stainless. Another model is their gourmet prima, which looks very similar, but has only the triply base. Tramontina tested out positively against both Cuisinart and Cooks Standard in three cases, and both its triply and prima models beat out Cuisinart altogether. Cooks Standard was not a contender in the latter review. The main selling point for Tramontina over Cuisinart and Cooks Standard is quality, design and efficiency. Cuisinart and Cooks Standard both have flared rims, making pouring better. Cooks Standard is thought to lack beauty. However Cuisinart’s handles are poorly designed, stay too hot and have a point which can cut into the hand. Tramontina triply only offers the flared rims on its skillets. Their Prima model offers it throughout. Regardless of that drawback, Tramontina is consitldered a superior product in the three areas tested. In view of these clarifications and additional information, I have since decided to purchase the Tramontina cookware, over the Cuisinart. I do apologize for the original review errors, and hope that this additional information is as helpful to other buyers as it has been for me! baj
Question:	Will it work on induction cooktops
Answer:	Stainless, cast iron and enameled cookware generally ok. Some cladded pans as well. Goodwill got all my old aluminium. Be cautious of sizes of the bottom of the pan. My LG induction top has three sizes and too big or too small just will not turn burner on. Perhaps as it should be, I guess. But check your cooktop's manual for any word on pan sizes.

Answer:	Yes. Works great on induction.
Question:	Is aluminum used as the base or in this pans inners at all
Answer:	The GreenPan cookware is hard anodized aluminum with a non-stick ceramic coating. For us, they have very durable, quick to heat up, and easy to clean.
Question:	Is there a comparison of all of the different Green Pan options
Answer:	It seems there are three classes (and maybe more sub-classes). The Venice Pro series is their top offering, and is for use with all cooktops including induction. Which means it has some copper and other metals in the base. It has a stainless steel exterior and body. We have the Valencia Pro series and like it - it is the same as the Venice Pro but with an Anodized aluminum body (coated with dark paint/enamel) - it is their only other offering that is suitable for use with induction cooktops. Next in line is the Paris Pro, similar to the Valencia but with (oven proof) steel lids, but this series does not offer the copper in the base so it will not work with induction cooktops. Rightly or wrongly, we got the Valencia Pro believing it worth the extra few $$ to have copper in the base, but without the perhaps extra care (and $100 more cost) required to keep the exterior shiny. Those are three slightly different high-end offerings; the remainder of the sets I group into their less expensive, everyday, throw them away when they "break" category. There may be two levels in this class, I forget. Some have "rubber" handles on the lids which, if I were going the less-expensive route, I would think handy. Their web site is pretty good, as the other person commented.
