Answer:	Only at times when a heat source (like a flame) is beneath the pan. The pan is made from metal because most metals are a good conductor of heat. Metal handles attached directly to metal sides of a metal pan would tend to conduct heat - even to bare fingers. Yes, the pan's handles get hot on a gas stove - and also on an electric stove.

Answer:	The headboard starts just a couple of inches above the mattress slats - no mattress, even a thin one would leave the gap exposed.

Question:	can I stack the pots
Answer:	They are very hard to stack because of their lids. The lids do fit nice and tight on each pan BUT when you flip it upside down to have the handle out of the way, for a nice flat surface to stack, the lid slides off causing a tumble. We stack the pots and pans only (no lids) and place the lids on the side. It's not space friendly but they didn't compromise on these for storing ease..... Wish we could of had both
Question:	Why are mine yes-stick and black after the first use? I have been boiling them with dish washer to see if i can remove the stains with no luck at all
Answer:	The blackness is charred glazing from whatever your cooking. To prevent or minimize, heat the pan slowly with low heat and a little oil. For cleaning, Bar Keepers Friend is great. Other things you might have on hand are cream of tartar, and or vinegar. My personal favorite is using wine while the pan is still hot. Wine is an excellent deglazing tool, and depending on what you’re cooking can add flavor, if done while the food is still in the pan. Happy cooking!
Question:	Have any of you considered the multi-ply set from Cooks Standard and Tramontina? If so, what made you choose Cuisinart? I'm having trouble deciding
Answer:	UPDATE: Comparing Cuisinart, Tramontina and Cooks Standard triply clad stainless steel cookware. In checking further professional reviews, I realised that there were a couple of errors in the information in my original review, below. Tramontina is manufactured in both Brazil and China. The triply clad cookware is ALL triply clad stainless. Another model is their gourmet prima, which looks very similar, but has only the triply base. Tramontina tested out positively against both Cuisinart and Cooks Standard in three cases, and both its triply and prima models beat out Cuisinart altogether. Cooks Standard was not a contender in the latter review. The main selling point for Tramontina over Cuisinart and Cooks Standard is quality, design and efficiency. Cuisinart and Cooks Standard both have flared rims, making pouring better. Cooks Standard is thought to lack beauty. However Cuisinart’s handles are poorly designed, stay too hot and have a point which can cut into the hand. Tramontina triply only offers the flared rims on its skillets. Their Prima model offers it throughout. Regardless of that drawback, Tramontina is consitldered a superior product in the three areas tested. In view of these clarifications and additional information, I have since decided to purchase the Tramontina cookware, over the Cuisinart. I do apologize for the original review errors, and hope that this additional information is as helpful to other buyers as it has been for me! baj
Question:	Will it work on induction cooktops
Answer:	Stainless, cast iron and enameled cookware generally ok. Some cladded pans as well. Goodwill got all my old aluminium. Be cautious of sizes of the bottom of the pan. My LG induction top has three sizes and too big or too small just will not turn burner on. Perhaps as it should be, I guess. But check your cooktop's manual for any word on pan sizes.

Answer:	The seller of this product has to be incorrect. Farberware Millenium is an 18/10 stainless steel, the 10 stands for 10% nickel. Most of the good brands are either 18/10 or 18/8. Rarely do you find 18/0 and if you do it is far more expensive.

The customer service number they provide is to a different company and when you call this company they will tell you to call another number and the people at that number will tell you they aren’t responsible for you not getting your stuff. I've waited 4 days to see if a 2nd box arrives - no luck so I called Amazon. In their system, it only says 1 box so they are of no help. My only options are a refund or to replace it and hope I receive 2 boxes next time. Amazon needs to update their system to clearly show 2 boxes with 2 tracking numbers. Very disappointing.

Answer:	In my experience, it depends on how high you're cooking. At normal general temps, the handles on the pots and pans themselves are generally not too hot to the touch, but if you cook with the lids on the whole time, the lid handles will need to be removed using a potholder.

Answer:	1 lid (the largest) fits on the two biggest frying pans but the smaller lids don't fit on the small frying pans .

I ordered and received the 17 piece set and it includes one each of the following items:8-Q stock pot w/lid;4-Q Dutch oven w/lid;3-Q sauce pan w/lid;2-Q sauce pan w/lid;steamer insert that fits both the 3-Q & 2-Q sauce pans;1-Q sauce pan w/lid;3.5-Q saute pan w/lid;12" skillet w/lid;10" skillet;8" skillet.The 10" & 8" skillets DO NOT have lids. The video associated with this product listing is also inaccurate. It shows a different 17 piece set with different items. Answer:	The copper coating has chipped off after four uses but it is stainless underneath and still works fine. It's just not nice to look at. It's pretty frustrating for the price we paid.

Answer:	It is metal (a series of small dots). I have a glass top stove and have not had a problem using this pan.

Answer:	It does have a nonstick ceramic coating. This pan only lasted 2 months and the bottom worpped . Not very good quality. The handle will not stay tight either. It can't handle high heat settings​ at all. I had a whole set of this cookware and have been replacing it a PC at a Time. It's not even a year old yet.
