Answer:	This pan has ceramic opposed to PTFE. I use no oil to cook with on this finish. It is relatively a new type cooking experience and I do like it immensely. Your parrot will get no PTFE or PFOA fumes. To preserve the skillet finish, rinse with vinegar only...Do not use dish detergents. Happy cookin' to you and Polly parrot!!

Answer:	Mine hasn't changed shape at all, but I have noticed that the side of the pan with the handle is slightly heavier than the opposite side, which does mean I have to shift the pan on the burner periodically to maintain even cooking with eggs, since eggs are not heavy enough to counterweight the pan. But the pan is still in great shape and I use it to cook eggs and other things every week.

Answer:	I use them on a smooth cook top and they work fine. Don't put them in the dishwasher. They will discolor and some of the finish on the bottom comes off.

The larger of the two in this set measures 10.25" (vs. a 10.5") so I'm guessing you are probably referring 10.25" and it's VERY GOOD NEWS if you are! I don't know that they make a separate lid per se, BUT...I just received a larger "T-Fal Excite 4.5 Quart Jumbo Cooker" which ALSO measures 10.25" across and the lid actually fits the larger 10.25" fry pan!
