Answer:	The handles are covered with rubber and they never get hot. These are the best pans that you can buy.
Question:	Are these for invention cooking
Answer:	they re definitely heavier than some of the other cookware on the market, but they are also sturdier. My only complaint is that some of the outer coating on one of the pans is coming off. Not sure if it was caused by the heat of the burner (I have a ceramic cooktop) or not. None of the other pans seem to have the problem. I do not have any problems washing them in the sink.
