Just make sure you follow the directions and season your wok properly; it will be naturally non-stick for years.

Question:	What is "gotham steel"? is it made of of steel or titanium? Or are they using deceptive descriptions to describe an aluminum pan
Answer:	I haven't tried Gotham yet, purchased at Costco awhile ago but returned it without using after I read all the Amazon reviews. I bought Green Pans mainly because I have a bird that likes to be in the kitchen & needed chemical free. The 8" Green pan works like a charm, almost too good, foods are difficult to flip, have to chase it around the pan. The 12" suddenly started having food sticking issues, big time--I couldn't get the food off even after soaking since only non-abrasives can be used. Followed all caveats. So I'm with all of you that can't make heads or tails out of so many positive reviews in the presence of so many negative ones! Was thinking about re-buying the Gotham until I read all the negatives. Can't win. Threw out all my flaked other nonstick pans. Guess I'll have to go back to the old-fashioned stainless steel or aluminum where I can use my Pam, scrub with Brillo & do whatever I want. Sigh!

Answer:	My mom asked me for this "amazing pan" she saw on TV one night. My first reaction to her request was not too positive. I've been let down by "As seen on TV" products in the past. The first thing I did before even thinking about purchasing the pan is check reviews on amazon. Just like you, I was very sckeptical due to the disparity from one review to another. I got tired of telling my mom this was probably a TV scam. After several days of hearing my mom go on and on about this "special pan" from the infomercial, I broke down and drove to the nearest Wallmart. A store I have only been to twice. I can honestly say with complete confidence that the pan I purchased for my mom is just as it was described on the TV. I would reccomend you take a chance and try it for yourself with a small caveat: go get it at Wallmart or BED BATH and BEYOND. That way, if you don't like the way it works after you use it once, simply return it immediately. Make sure to keep your reciept along with the original packaging and you shouldn't have any trouble with the return. This way you can see for yourself if it works! After that, give a review on Amazon so we can get more statistics. This may be one of those hit-and-miss products! In closing, I have to admit, my mom loves her pan! Good Luck! PS: I paid 19.99 plus tax for the pan at Wallmart.

Answer:	Yes. I do that with my Keens all the time. I have always worn the Targhee but just bought these for the first time. The people who recommend the Merrell Chameleon and say these aren't "slip ons" don't understand what you are asking; I do. I just bought these and wore them for the first time yesterday. When getting ready for bed, I slipped them off in the closet and this morning I was able to slip them back on fine. I push my foot as far forward as I can get it before attempting to slip the heel down. Once they're on, I bump the toe and then the heel against the floor to even out my socks. These work fine.

Answer:	Of course they do they are copper, a reactive metal. If you want them to stay pristine for display, buy them hang them, and do not use them. If you want to use them but want them to look new, get out the elbow grease, some Bar Keeper's Friend, and some Wright's Copper Cream. If you want to use them and aren't hung up on how the copper looks (it'll work just fine even with the patina) the use them and be happy.

Answer:	The pot thickness would be 2.5mm or more seems pretty sturdy. I would say copper thickness it is less than 0.25mm, it's just seems electroplated, not a sheet of copper. It's almost as thick as moisturizer layer one would put on skin. My skillet turned very light shade of pink and steel
