Answer:	If you want your pans to last, don't wash them in the dishwasher. Never wash a non-stick pan in the dishwasher unless you want to shorten the life of that item. Even my nice stainless pots came with a caution from the manufacturer to avoid the dishwasher and my anodized skillets definitely had that warning. Be safe rather than sorry.

Answer:	ABSOLUTELY NOT DISHWASHER SAFE-you will end up with the bottom of the pan deteriorating, disintegrating-DO NOT BUY THESE!!! I recently contacted the manufacturer. about my $350 set..they sell these as dishwasher-safe, but I had my set 2 years only...I kept the insides of these pots/pans pristine, but the bottom of every single one of the pans began disintegrating-I cannot touch my pots and pans now without getting black soot like crud-like the stuff that comes out of a chimney all over my hands, towels, etc. Customer service was very rude and said they only cover manufacturers defects despite the fact that these were advertised as dishwasher safe. Again, DO NOT buy these-2 years later I found I completely wasted $350 and Cuisinart will do nothing to rectify the situation!

Answer:	I do not know for sure, however I do own anodized steel pans and compared then to the green life pans. The weight difference alone leads me to believe that these are anodized aluminum. That being said, for me that's okay I bought them knowing that my children would not inherit them. I bought a test pan and used it for 7 months before buying g more. I am amazed at the cleanability and the very little oil or butter you need to cook. The pans directions state you really don't need anything.

Answer:	I beleive the metels are from China,but at this point just about everything is made in China,this product at one time was made here in the states,but like everything else most of our products are from China,thanks to all our great corporations that don't make enough money here they sent most of it to China, Mexico and were ever else they can get something made for such cheap labor,but all in all it did turn out to be so far a pretty good product,I would recomend it,it still has a very good name ,Farberware has been around a very long time,we still have a few pots from 30 years ago that are still working for us,my wife refuses to get rid of them,so at this point the price was right,the product is good,I say go for it.

Question:	What are the pros and cons of a stainless dutch oven as opposed to enameled cast iron
Answer:	It's all about what you plan to cook. If something will be cooking slow for along time you'll be better off with the cast iron. If you need a tomato sauce or 1/2 lb of spaghetti use the SS. Pro for stainless, cleans really well, much lighter, won't chip(assuming enameled cast iron)
Question:	Glass lids or SS
Answer:	If you are trying to decide between glass or SS, get the SS lids, which this set has. I have the glass lid set, and I've broken one lid by dropping it.
Question:	Is it 18/10 steel
Answer:	MGrimm criticizes these pans of only being 18/0 on the exterior rather than "true" 18/10 stainless. The reason these pans are 18/0 on the exterior is for superior performance on induction cooking surface. An induction pan with 18/10 would have inferior performance on an induction cooktop. If you're concerned about "pretty" rather than performance buy something else. But if you want superior performance using induction an cooktop, at a very reasonable price, these are the pans for you.

How to Cook with Nonstick?

Answer:	Yes, absolutely. That is the reason I bought this set. Nice to cook on stove and finish it in the oven. Nice set, you will like, the non stick wont last but I do cook a lot which is what I expected.

Answer:	Yes they do, our stove is ceramic glass top but please understand the first time that you put these pots and pans in your dishwasher it WILL ruin the finish totaly. They say that they are dishwasher safe but NOT at all and we got NO help from the factory at all. ( NO WARRANTY ON THIS AT ALL )

Answer:	Washing in the dishwasher will turn the outside anodizing a much lighter gray. I made this mistake. Once. I do not know if machine washing will damage the anodizing, but it definitely make it look bad. If you need to clean your cookware in the dishwasher you should get stainless steel, which loves the DW, and is available with nonstick coatings inside. Induction cookware is a specialty item that will always clearly be identified as such.
