Question: | What are the actual dimensions of this griddle? is it 11 x 11? or is it 11 x |
Answer: | It is 9.5 inches, 24 cm. The bottom of the inner pot is a bit smaller, 8.5 inches ~ 21 cm. Hope this info help. Good luck. |
Question: | does the underside of the 11" griddle have the silver plate for disbursing heat like the skillets? or is it just the anodized body |
Answer: | The bottom is tri-ply. The item is made in China. |
Question: | How high are sides |
Answer: | I'll do my best to answer this qustion. The inside diameter of the steamer basket is 9.5 inches at its' widest point and 4 1/8th inches deep. The pot depth is 5 7/8 inches. When inserted, the steamer basked goes into the pot approximately 1 3/4 inches.I use this steamer regularly. In fact, I used it today to par-steam two pounds of Brussels Sprouts for freezing. I could not be happier with the product. It gets a great deal of use in my kitchen. |
Question: | Can this pan be used on induction cooktop |
Answer: | Hi Keith,All "claded" ply- 3, 5, or the new 7 in stainless and MC2, along with copper core, and copper cookware is made in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. In other words, any item that has been cladded all the way from top to bottom, is USA made. If any item is a clad bottom ONLY- does not go all the way up the pot or pan, like the one pictured, it is made in China. The "B3" anodized is also made in China as it is not clad all the way. Hope this helps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | are the lids really manufactured overseas? i thought all-clad was now having all components manufactured in the US |
Answer: | I got referred this because I have the Cuisinart GG-12 set, which is the ceramic coated non-stick version. The ceramic coating does not permit odors to develop as it is impervious. For the teflon/polymer coatings you could try wiping the surfaces down with hydrogen peroxide. If there is decaying food stuck in the surface coating the peroxide will oxidize and destroy the foreign material. If the odor is due to over heating - and usually you can tell because the surface becomes powdery, you are out of luck - all you can do is toss the pan because if you continue to cook with it you will be eating the coating. If you are considering a new set, I cannot rate the ceramic coated pots high enough. My daughter forgot to soak the pot she made mac & cheese in, and I found it the next morning after it had dried. When I pulled out the wooden spoon that had dried in the sauce, the entire coating on the pot came off in one piece. Clean-up turned out to be wiping it down with a soapy sponge and rinsing. |
Question: | Is there any exposed aluminum on rims? 2 previous ss sets have an exposed aluminum strip on rim so they corrode in dishwasher |
Answer: | Yes, the coating is a ceramic and is free of heavy metals such as cadmium.I've had my set for a year now and except for the nuisance of not being dishwasher safe, they are quite nice. Dried Mac & Cheese wipes right off.If you need a set that is dishwasher safe, I recommend the Henkle Zwilling Spirit cookware. I have the 10 piece set, plus a couple of extra skillets and pots. It is dishwasher safe. |
Question: | Is All Clad Copper Core worth paying extra for |
Answer: | Yes, this product is Teflon free, I checked when I bought it as a gift. The way to can tell is that is says that it is "PTFE/PFOA-free" and, according to Wikipedia: "Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has numerous applications. The best known brand name of PTFE is Teflon by DuPont Co." Hope this helps. |
Question: | Is this 18/10 stainless, 304 surgical stainless, or 316 surgical stainless |
Answer: | We bought the Cuisinart 10" saute pan 8 or 10 months ago, but I do think I read from the info that came with the pan that they claimed the coating was lead and cadmium free. Really like this pan -- it is "non-stick" if you season it and treat it right. |

This piece of cookware gets its name from two Italian words “pentola” which means pot and as its name implies, it’s great for boiling pasta. That’s because of its high sides and the included colander, which you can just lift to drain without damaging the delicate starches. But, it’s also great for steaming or making foods that require straining small particles, like meat or veggie stocks. As part of our D3 Collection, this Pasta Pentola features a bonded tri-ply construction made with a responsive aluminum core pressed together with 2 layers of durable, stainless steel all the way around the surface, for fast and even heat. At 7 quarts, it accommodates a couple pounds of pasta and water. To keep your All-Clad looking brand new, we recommend washing your cookware with a soap and sponge instead of the dishwasher. Like all our bonded cookware, it's handmade in the USA at our Canonsburg, PA factory with ultra-durable materials that'll last a lifetime and never go out of style. A flat, stainless-steel lid is included to lock in moisture. Handles & Colander Insert are made in China.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can i use pot as a dutch oven? can’t use cast iron (like staub |
Answer: | I guess you could, but it's not really designed for that. It's tall and narrow like a stockpot, and really too tall to fit in the oven like a Dutch oven would. If you can't use a traditional cast iron Dutch oven, then you would probably be better off using a 6QT heavy aluminum stockpot. |
Question: | How much does this weigh - is it awkwardly heavy for a 10 year old? I'm comparing this to the All-clad 6 quart pasta pot |
Answer: | I hate to cop out on this answer, but it would depend on the ten year old, At that age I was over 5 feet tall and our family did outside catering, so maybe I am not the best judge of that. That said I love the pot, it replaced a larger Emirel's sp.? which was a little larger than it needed it to be. Pasta is definitely on the menu more often at our house since it arrived. I found it to be the perfect size to cook a 1 pound box, I haven't tried larger amounts of pasta since there is only 2 of us but it could probably handle larger amounts. I'm a tool guy and something of a cheapskate so it is unusual for me to break down and buy the "best" whatever but this is beautiful (My first piece of All Clad) and it is the right tool for the job. My best suggestion is to have the kid in question fill the pot at the sink (cold water weighs the same as hot) and see if they can carry it to the stove easily. It just occurred to me that I don't actually have to carry the pot, hot. When the past is cooked, I just carefully lift the insert and drain the pasta and tilt the insert towards me at an angle and rest it on the pot at an angle, and serve from there with tongs or as pasta grabber and let the pot cool on the stove before moving it to the sink. hope this verbose answer is helpful. |
Question: | Are the dimensions (12" x 9.5") wrong? V = pi*6^2*9.5 cu in = 1074 cu in. @ 57.75 cu in / qt, that is closer to 18 qt, not 7 qt. Please clarify, ty |
Answer: | Mine is 7 qt. About 8in ID and 7.5in height. With the insert it's about 10in tall, but that doesn't add usable volume. |
Question: | Does it state on the pot that it is made in the usa & that it is 7qt |
Answer: | Yes, it says made in the USA and 7 qt on the bottom of the larger outside pot. I will say that the rivets where the handles are attached on the larger pot have poked through on the inside. I don’t know if that makes sense, trying to describe what I see as a bit of a defect. Overall, I am happy with the pasta pentola I like having the strainer insert and we cook a lot of pasta. |

User questions & answers
Question: | With stove top cooking is the lid cool to the touch |
Answer: | I didn't. First, they don't reach to the end of the shoe. They end just short of my toes. And I found they fit perfectly in my boots - size 7.5. |
Question: | What's the pan diameter |
Answer: | I have Flintstone flat Feet, female, size 8. These inserts are a gift to the flat foot. I found them instantly comforting upon first walk. When my job was Full-time, ave day walking 10-11 miles. They only cover a short portion of the foot bed of your shoe. This is intentional. It's Graduated, like a beach shore. I see people barking they're made for a kid. NO. They are made for adult foot. They aid as intended. |
Question: | Does this work with an induction stove |
Answer: | I have never replaced mine. |
Question: | What is the width and depth to this pan |
Answer: | Probably, I never tried that! They are very comfy. |

Product description
When it comes to making sauce, gravy, or other liquidy foods, the saucepan is your go-to. Its high, straight sides lend itself well for frequent stirring or whisking that comes with making sauces, limiting spilling. And the smaller surface area holds heat well and limits evaporation. As part of our D3 Collection, this Saucepan features a bonded tri-ply construction made with a responsive aluminum core pressed together with 2 layers of durable, stainless steel all the way around the surface, for fast and even heat. At 4 quarts, it’s big enough for those no-fuss one-pot meals and leaves you with enough for next-day’s lunch. User questions & answers
Question: | What are the dimentions of this pan |
Answer: | The 4 qt pan is 8” diameter, 5” tall. This is a great pan, I use mine almost everyday. |
Question: | Can you use electric mixer or a whisk with this product without scratching it all the heck |
Answer: | I love All-clad...every single pot and pan. That said, you can tell that a whisk or mixer, or even a metal spoon has been used. But, I wouldn't call it scratched. You might like to know that the Sep/Oct 2017 issue of Cook's Illustrated gave this sauce pan their highest recommendation with the following comments, "Our longtime winner excelled, with steady heating and good visibility to monitor browning. Its stay-cool handle was easy to grip, and a helper handle provided another grabbing point. After being whacked on concrete, it emerged with only tiny dents." After that last statement, I'm sure it will hold up to a mixer without any problem. |
Question: | Where is this actually made now, including the stainless, original questions are from |
Answer: | This product is made in Canonsburg, Oa. |
Question: | Is this pot dishwasher safe? My first All-Clad pot was not |
Answer: | I do NOT recommend putting any All Clad in the dishwasher. I have put mine in it from time to time but I don’t recommend it. That being said if you are using citrus scented soaps (sink or dishwasher) it will affect the finish. Try using a water/vinegar mix to correct what the citrus, acidic foods and/or dishwasher do to them over time. |

I use this pan frequently for a piece of salmon or a burger. I Sometimes use to roast some veggies. I couldn't be happier with them. |

Answer: | just measured: each pan holds 2 cups of water (16 oz). |
