Answer:	I do believe that the non bonded parts of All-Clad are made in China. Not 100% certain, since I bought my cookware over 5 years ago, but that is what I hear now.
Question:	Is there any exposed aluminum on rims? 2 previous ss sets have an exposed aluminum strip on rim so they corrode in dishwasher
Answer:	Yes, there is a very small strip on the edge (2 mm or so), which is simply the layer of aluminum between the layers of steel. Even though All-Clad states these are dishwasher safe, we always recommend hand washing your better quality knives and cookware.Chefs Corner Store

Answer:	the consensus answer I have found online is that copper core is NOT worth paying extra for. the all clad line with best temperature performance is actually the MC2, but the regular, 3 layer sandwich of SS around aluminum is the all-around winner because it is versatile (i.e. induction capable) and dishwasher safe, unlike MC2. started searching because I was contemplating purchase of a calphalon accucore set that was "deal of the day". learned the most at centurylife.org in an article about "is all-clad worth it". the answer was yes for the d3 all-clad but not for copper core.
Question:	Is this 18/10 stainless, 304 surgical stainless, or 316 surgical stainless
Answer:	In all of my research before purchasing my All-Clad I have not come across the use of 304 or 316 surgical stainless, only 18/10. The Tri-ply cookware line that I have purchased (from Amazon and elsewhere) features a 3-ply design, 18/10 steel cooking surfaces, aluminum cores for the even heating, and the highly polished exterior 18/0 stainless for lasting beauty and induction compatibility. Answer:	MC2 is 2 Layers of aluminum and an inside layer of stainless steel with a brushed finish. It is primarily a true commercial product, and a bit less expensive than the Stainless/Aluminum/Stainless most people associate with All-Clad, while still having the durability and non-reactivity you'd expect from the stainless cooking surface. Because of the aluminum construction it won't work on an induction range.
Question:	How many ounces does one hold
Answer:	Yes, it’s a stainless steel cooking surface. I’ve used the pot several times over the years to make bagels with a brief water/lye bath prior to baking, and there have been no ill effects. This cookware has stood up to lots of punishment, and it’s still going strong.
Question:	This "specialty baker" appears not to be tri-ply? Beware of All-Clad, it has a variety of materials of varying quality
Answer:	Go to the All-Clad website. It clearly says "Made in the USA". MC2 is Aluminum/Aluminum/Stainless construction with a brushed exterior. It is a bit less expensive than the Stainless/Aluminum/Stainless or Copper Core (!) or 5-Layer (!!) construction. All-Clad also offers the 5-Layer pans in a brushed stainless finish. MC2 is the most industrial of the All-Clad products and was originally conceived as true commercial cookware where esthetics were second to durability and cost. MC2, like all aluminum cookware, will not work with an induction burner.

Answer:	Yes it came brand new in its original package. It was a gift to my hubby & he loved it :) I highly recommend buying it.
Question:	What are the dimensions of each pan? (Diameter and height
Answer:	Handle edge to handle edge is 9". The pan itself is but a smidge under 7". In terms of width it's a 5 1/4" Depth is a smidge over 1". I bought two pans, his and hers if you will. I use this pan frequently for a piece of salmon or a burger. I Sometimes use to roast some veggies. I couldn't be happier with them.
Question:	are these safe for ceramic radiant glass cooktops
Answer:	just measured: each pan holds 2 cups of water (16 oz).
Question:	Do these work with induction
Answer:	It is not tri-clad. It is ovenware, and a single layer of stainless, thick enough to be very sturdy, but it would likely have hot spots if used on the stovetop (probably ok on low heat settings).

Question:	Is the brushed stainless more difficult to clean than polished stainless and do you have to clean "with the grain" when using Bar Keeper's Friend
Answer:	I believe that is right. I have had mine for approx 6 months now so not sure how accurate that is. I love these pans.
Question:	I'm not a chef but a homemaker. I'm confused with some other all clad not d5 that they complain about the fish or egg sticking to the stainless steel
Answer:	I have a glass cook top and they do just fine. I haven’t had trouble with the lids- there is one that will fit each pot. Not one for each pot but one that will fit the pots in the set.
Question:	Can this set be use on induction cooktops
Answer:	They clean so easily, we don't put them in the dishwasher. I've read mixed reviews as to dishwasher results, so we just don't do it.
Question:	Is this set made in the USA? I know some of All-Clad's products are and some aren't
Answer:	As with any cookware with metal handles, if you leave them on enough heat for long enough, you should expect the handles to get hot. I wouldn't say these get any hotter than any other cookware with metal handles. Use a potholder if you need to.

Answer:	Yes you can use 2 of the pot lids on the 2 skillets- they fit perfect

Answer:	You need to use oil or a non-stick spray. These are not non-stick pans.

Answer:	Hi, yes all made stainless steel.... very nice pots indeed.
Question:	Is this set the same as the D3 set
Answer:	Yes. The pans do not have a non-stick coating to scratch.
