Assuming you use boiling water, you heated up your provided espresso cup, you sip your espresso right next to camp fire, there is no cold winds blowing at your face, and you drink it quickly - yes it stay warm for the time you have it.

Question:	I have had my moka pot for months now. It shows signs of rust on the inside. Is this still ok to use
Answer:	There is only two internal parts: aluminum cone to hold coffee and a gasket. I have the 3-cup, smaller version.

Answer:	Filling the 6-cup to just below the valve (as recommended) and measuring, it came to 300ml or about 9 ounces. If you want "americano"-strength coffee, put two rounded tablespoons (15g) of illy medium roast (red band) espresso grind coffee (or lavazza or your favorite) in the basket. If you want 4 "shots" of espresso-strength, fill the basket to the top and maybe use the dark roast (black band). If you don't want to make "too much" coffee (is there such a thing?), simply save the leftover espresso-strength coffee in your refrigerator in a glass container and it will taste fine the next day -- just add hot water (about 4oz to 2oz of espressso)! This is what I do and it saves time in the morning =)

Answer:	The cups are actually espresso cups and they are smaller than regular cups (imperial). They are around 50ml (1.7oz). The 3 cups one is just right for one person, but small for two. You can always make it twice though. But for a more regular making for 2 people, I would get the 6 cup one. I have the 3 cup one, and I'm about to buy the 6 cup.

Answer:	2015 update - if you use Starbuck beans, you can more closely recreate the taste of Starbuck's.A conditional yes, please let me explain why. I should also mention that for years I was a Starbuck's two doppio's a day fanatic. I did find, using Starbuck's beans bought in the smallest quantities for freshness gave me great results in the moka pot. How close you find your satisfaction with the moka pot is really unknown until you work with one and evaluate the results for yourself. That being said, I will share two years of experimentation with the Moka pot, in some details, hopefully without overwhelming you. Keep in mind, if you simply want to put coffee and water in the machine, there is no need to read further. The moka pot is pretty consistent in making a good strong coffee. There are some other variables you can work with, depending on your interest, and motivation. I love espresso and am highly motivated to capturing that elusive finest cup.There are some constants:1. Since the water is a constant (you fill GOOD water to the bottom of the valve), and 2. You fill the basket with ground coffee (and do NOT tamp it down) 3. You heat the pot on very low heat and remove it when the water sound stops and no not let the pot boil.Then there is only one other variable, the grind of the coffee.1. There is only so much ground coffee the basket can hold, so the taste of the coffee will change depending on how fine or coarse the beans are ground. 2. If you are using pre-ground Starbuck's coffee, that would seem like you have it made right? Well, no. Keep in mind Starbuck's uses a big machine and this is a little pot for your home.What I and others have found, is grinding your own fresh beans will maximize the likelihood you are getting the best results. I have moved over to the dark side and got a burr grinder as a gift. Having worked with it for two years, I can attest to the fact I can work with a fine or coarse grind to get great and strong coffee from the Moka pot. Just remember to remove the pot from the heat when you hear the water stops. Leaving it on longer will not make the coffee stronger, it will boil it and most likely make in unpalatable. My preference is for the aluminum pot vs stainless steel and I do NOT wash the pot with any soap. A wipe down with a moist paper towel and leaving it air dry has given me great results after the initial one or two first pots I needed to break in the pot in.Whew on the details here but I am trying to give you an honest explanation of what you can do to get more consistent results for yourself. Its why you want that in all your aluminum cookware because that is what stops the aluminum from leeching out into your food. Its the reason why people always recommend you boil water in a new aluminum pot to get this to form (ie seasoning.) Don't use vinegar or lime-away to remove this beneficial layer!

Question:	Can I make less than 6 cups
Answer:	I returned mine because it was too small to activate any of the burners on my inductions stove. It would only work with an induction disk. In addition, the Stainless Steel is low quality and rusts. Therefore, I ended up getting the traditional aluminum Moka Express instead and use it daily with an induction disk. The aluminum one works great, does not rust and is cheaper! Triple win!

Answer:	It sounds like not enough heat to get the water boiling, or there is a blockage, so the water/steam can't get through to the top. I always put mine on fairly high heat - making sure to keep the handle away from heat. CHECK THE FOLLOWING: 1) make sure that the threads of the top are not clogged by grains of ground coffee. 2) make sure that your filter (between top and bottom) isn't clogged 3) make sure that the top and bottom are tightly sealed - no ground coffee on the rubber gasket. There should be a LITTLE bit of water left in the bottom - if the bottom is completely dry, you let it boil too long.

Answer:	if it's not defective and you think you tighten it tight enough, there are a couple of things that can make it shoot out steam from the center seam. There might be some coffee ground spilled on the top edge of the little strainer or on the outer rim of the reservoir preventing a tight grip. You might be filling the reservoir too much with water and it makes it overflow when boiling. Or this happened to me when I first got mine, the little Calvin the outside of the reservoir might be slightly pushed in, in which case try to brew clear water for a couple of times at high heat to help it pop out. In fact try the clear water anyway to see how the pot behaves, which is a good way to maintain your pot free of coffee residue in the funnel. Hope this help.

Answer:	These are Italian cups, i.e. espresso cups. I makes just a tad more than one good sized American mug.

Answer:	If it darkened is because u burned it, the fire is too much high when you do your coffee... anyway I am sure there are a few products and color that you can use for restore it in the steel section..

Answer:	So did I at First, then I settled for what I could find.(I bought the 12 cup Bialetti, I have had mine for about 45 days- ) I thought I might taste the alum but never have i yet!! I make 2-3 pots a day on med. heat I am sure glad I got one makes The Best Coffee Ever!! They also carry replacement gasket and what not for 5 bucks Read the info they send with it(like how to move vale around while washing) for a pro-longed pot life--------- ---------- Do Not Bleach------

Answer:	I just have the stainless steel. It handles the heat fine. Makes espresso as good as any coffee shop. The handle does not get hot. Turn stove top small burner on about 70%, no higher.

Produces 6 cups of rich, authentic Italian espresso in just 4-5 minutes. Note that max boiler capacity is slightly greater than the final output. Some water will be left in the boiler after brewing. The Venus is compatible with all stovetops, including induction cooktops. Stainless steel espresso pots are not dishwasher safe, hand wash only. Never use other contents besides coffee like teas, cacao powder, instant coffee or fine ground coffee as it will clog the filter plate. To use; fill the lower chamber with cold water just below the valve. Insert the funnel and fill it with ground espresso (do not tamp). Remove any coffee grounds on the edge of the funnel. Tightly screw the upper part of the pot on the base. Avoid using the handle for leverage. Select burner size to fit the bottom of pot. For gas stovetop, make sure the flame is not larger than bottom of pot. The flame should not come around the sides of the pot. Place pot on the stovetop until the water boils and coffee begins to come out of the center post. There will be a gurgling sound during this process. When the top of the pot is full of coffee, remove from stove. Hazel brown foam appears just seconds before the coffee is completely done. Before pouring coffee, stir it in the upper chamber with a small spoon to equalize all the different coffee layers for optimum flavor. Answer:	No it is not made in Italy ! The one I received is made in India = not the same quality !
