Answer:	I feel that the Bella Espresso maker does not make a good shot of espresso, I have not been able to create the "crema". That said, yes it is possible to make just a one cup shot. Fill the water well with enough water for one shot. Follow instruction from a review: "2) Fill ground espresso into metal basket to the first line, or just use the scooper provided. Unfortunately, the tamper end of the scoop doesn't go deep enough into the basket so you will have to be creative or order a new tamper; then, tighten the basket into the espresso maker."

Answer:	As long as your drinking just plain espresso. If you wanna make a drink if recommend pouring it in. Esp with americanos. You want to pour the espresso when it meets with the water so the creme floats on top and the heavier, darker coffee sinks in
Question:	what is the difference between the H741 and the KBG
Answer:	The coffee holder is 50mm at the top but tapers slightly to 47mm at the bottom. The plastic tamper that comes with the set is 50mm and works OK as long as there is 2 to 4 servings of coffer in the holder. We actually use a flat bottomed coffee scoop that is slightly smaller than the holder.
Question:	I have a glass coffee carafe that when pouring runs down the side. Is the Technivorm glass carafe designed to avoid this problem
Answer:	I see everyone seems to agree the answer to this is "no". I must disagree, however. I use it for regular 'drip' grind as well and have found that it brings the flavor of the coffee out wonderfully. If you've ever bought a coffee shop brand of ground coffee or beans and were disappointed that it doesn't taste like it does when you get it served by the barista, try it in this machine. Mmmm...

We have never had a fancy machine so not sure what other types of high end coffee machines require regarding cleaning. All I can say is that the coffee tastes SO MUCH BETTER....we grind our own beans and order them from Strictly Organic, a coffee roaster in Bend, Oregon. You can DEFINITELY tell the difference. Our cabinets didn't allow for the 12 cup so we have the 10 cup. Wish we could have ordered the 12 cup. It does brew pretty fast!

Answer:	Believe both answers have truth. If one pours brewed coffee in to a cup deliberately the carafe will not spill-yet if one is in the slightest most hurry, it will run down the carafe side creating spills. Conversely when filling the Technivorms water tank in preparation of making a batch of coffee, I do not always possess the patience to pour “deliberately” at this time, so I thumb up the plastic lid just so it is away from the glass rim of the carafe, this gap of separation allows one to pour much more quickly(fast)without any spills, other than now your poor streaming aim of this water to the tank.

Answer:	I didn't have to program it. It automatically shuts after 2 hours. You can program it to shut off in more time but I think 2 hours is perfect. I love it.

Answer:	Yes, by using the set button to set either hour or minute.
Question:	Does this basket come with a lid/cover
Answer:	Only had my Braun for about a month but the filter is very well made. Not at all flimsy. Imagine it will last for a few years at least.
Question:	Will this fit the Farberware single serve brewer
Answer:	178 degrees. I just brewed a full pot and tested temp with a instant read thermometer.

Answer:	Unfortunately no one manufactures paper basket filters the correct size for this. The closest I have come is Melitta cone coffee filter # 2. It is cone-shaped, so I have to squish it down with my fingers to make it fit. It extends about 1/4 inch over the basket, but that doesn't matter. It takes a lot of trial and error.
Question:	What are the product dimensions? It seems that the dimensions shown are the dimensions of the box, but I would like to know the height/width
Answer:	May as well be 6 feet wide, it is huge and in no way comes close to fitting, I tossed it.

Answer:	YES! Sboly introduced the lid in summer 2019.
