Answer:	I would only heat water, anything else might mess up the heating element unless it's something like tea or coffee. It shuts off when temperature is reached, but you can set it to stay warm. I'm happy with mine. If you need to turn it off, take it off the heating plate.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. We do not suggest brewing tea in the kettle. Tea stain may be left in the base of the jug when brewing the tea and affect the sensitivity of the temperature sensor with long-term use.
Question:	How to bypass keep warm option
Answer:	HadinEEon customer service replied to me almost immediately. When the temp is set other than 212, it will take a longer time to reach the target temp. When the water temp is about to reach set temp, the kettle will be in a start-stop adjustment for water to gradually approach set temp. That means the kettle starts and stops heating over several times for reaching target water temp. Once the water reaches the target temp, the kettle turns off immediately and make beep sounds.

Answer:	I had the same problem. The instructions are very misleading. Simply press "set" and choose your temp (I like 155). Your chosen number will flash 3 times - while it's flashing push "start" and it will heat to that temp. The instructions led me to believe I should push start after the number stopped flashing and the current temp showed. As you've found, that doesn't work.
