Answer:	I never timed it before I got this question so I decided to boil some water and time it. It took 9 minutes from the time I turned it on until it shut off.

Answer:	Good question I'm not sure of interior but it will make 4 small cups of coffee easily. As far as the lid I do believe it comes off. But the best part is it boils very fast, has auto turn off, and u can see the water level. It removes from the heating unit so in a hotel you can brew in the safety of the sink area and come set it on the table to serve. We love it, far improved from the old hot pots.

Answer:	the lid sometimes hangs but opens fine after a few times. Never had trouble with the on switch. It will NOT engage if the water is very hot.

Auto-shut off works, and as someone pointed out, if you don't close the lid all the way, the auto-shut will not work. But it shuts off as soon as it hits a hard boil. Excellent product.

Answer:	I bought one of these this year but thought I'd post about this as I'm pretty sure those directions are a mistake, as that really would be the MINIMUM amount of tea you could make with the infuser, as anything less would have the infuser (and the tea) above the water line.

Answer:	Mine was authentic in every way. I requested a L (large), not a number, which was definitely a large. It sounds like a 4 would be equal to a small but I'm not sure. Hope this helps.
