Answer:	I am able to push the lever down and it stays down even though the slots are empty if the toaster is plugged in. I am unable to get the lever to stay down if the slots are empty but the toaster is not plugged in. So it lets you know that something is wrong. Thank you as I didn't know this was a feature that was present and may help me know why it won't work. I have enjoyed the bagel function and it has been really enjoyable!

Answer:	I think any of these units provide a ground. This one does. The reason being, +12 is common on the LED strips and if it is an RBG strip, each color is controlled by grounding its lead.
Question:	Does it come with the capsules
Answer:	The controller itself does not need 12volts in my experience. But if you are only going to use a 5v power source (like a USB plug) then you need to make sure your led light strip is 5v. So yes, you can power it via USB, as long as your light strip is 5v.

Answer:	Yes, it is great. Don’t know if they still make them, but shurline used to make a square pad with little wheels which is great for along edges also.
