Answer:	I found a made in China sticker displayed on the bottom of the carafe. The box proudly says designed and assembled in the US. Weasel wordsmithing.

Answer:	Absolutely, but the minimum they recommend is 24 oz which is 1/2 a pot. This is typically what I brew each morning. Fills a good size travel mug with just a bit left over.

Answer:	I had concerns about how much power it consumed, put ours on a timer, keeping the water hot for a few hours a day, in the morning when we make our one pot of coffee for the day.

Answer:	I bought mine in November 2018. The first time I plugged it in and made the first test run, there was only a slight plastic burning smell. Afterward, there was no smell.

Question:	does the pot leak
Answer:	I agree. Why have a choice of 1-4 cups? If you put 2 cups of water it’ll brew 2 cups. It would be nice for me if I could fill the water up to 12 cups and brew 2 cups a day for several days. You’d just have to add new coffee not water. I’m considering buying this machine but I’m not sure how long the coffee will stay hot. I have a Mr coffee now and it only stays hot about an hour.
Question:	Is there a button on the lid to the carafe to release the coffee or does the lid have to be unscrewed
Answer:	This does not have a water filter.( Cuisinart brand do have a filter as well as some Mr Coffee FYI ).Water source makes a big difference on taste. Try it with another water source and test for yourself.

Answer:	The water gets hot enough but we had trouble with the lid flow valve sticking closed. At times the coffee would not flow through into the pot and would run over on the counter & floor. Had to make sure the valve in the top was open when assembling for brewing in the morning. Seemed like the valve would stick easily. I returned our coffee maker because it ran over twice.

Answer:	The Cuisinart features two separate reservoirs — one to brew a full pot of coffee & one for a single-serve cup. The two reservoirs mean that when you brew a pot, you aren’t using up all of the water from the single-serve reservoir — which is a plus. However both reservoirs are somewhat difficult to access. To answer your question, you don’t have to pour water in each time for the single-serve function, which is an improvement over some other dual coffee makers (like the Hamilton Flex Brew). The single-serve reservoir holds 40 oz — enough to brew three 10 oz cups or five 6 oz cups before refilling. (It requires a limited amount of water to remain in the reservoir to work properly.) Answer:	Not only does the lid not drain without effort to empty from the smaller hole, the pot won't completely empty without extra effort to ensure it is empty. This machine is a disappointment.

Answer:	No, you don't have to use the charcoal filter. It just filters the water before it hits the grounds in the basket. But no, it is not necessary for the function of the coffeemaker.

Answer:	Coffee pot measures just 14 inches.
Question:	Does the model with the insulated stainless carafe have a heater on the bottom
Answer:	I have purchased 3 of these over the years because of failure. All of them have have had the plate problem. The latest maker was purchased in Mar. 2018 and I've never placed the carafe on the plate while it's warm and have always wiped down the carafe with paper towel. Yet, it's still corroding. This shouldn't be happening.

Answer:	I suppose you could use it for tea, but it is so fine tuned for coffee (temperature) that I don't know why you would. You won't have the correct temps for black, oolong, white, green tea.
Question:	Does coffee maker have a thermal carafe
Answer:	Yes it does, but I would highly recommend preheating the carafe with boiling water before Brewing. It will keep the coffee hotter for longer period of time.
Question:	Cups??? How many ounces are actually brewed
Answer:	I measured using an 8 oz measuring cup -27 ounces of water takes you even with the 5 cup line -28 ounces of water takes you just above the line --Everything was properly measured at the meniscus -This yields a per-cup pre-brewed number of between 5.4 oz and 5.6 oz --As others have said, there will be some retention of liquid in the grounds. --The amount of retention varies depending on the grind (fine/course) and the roast of the coffee. Search on "How to measure water at meniscus" if you're curious as to why this is the accurate figure.

Answer:	The cone works better when brewing small batches and basket for larger brewing. Must be the saturation area per amount of coffee grounds

Answer:	The widest point of the base is about 12.5" but if you orient the carafe with handle to the right, you would need another 1.5" of clearance. If space is tight, carafe handle could be rotated to stick out in front.

Question:	Can you choose the amount you want to brew? Can it do a small amount, just one or two cups at a time
Answer:	There is no setting for number of cups to brew. You can, however, pour the amount of water you want to brew into the water intake compartment at the top of the coffee maker. For example, if you want to brew two cups of coffee, fill your coffee cup with water twice and pour it into water intake opening. The coffee maker will brew that amount of coffee.
Question:	do you need the pitcher for water or can you use the carafe
Answer:	I have the BT version of this coffee maker. It is the best coffee maker I have ever purchased! You can use the carafe, but I use a pitcher. If I know that the coffee will sit for a little bit, I rinse the pot with hot water to help keep the coffee hot in the carafe. My BT version makes fantastic coffee fast!
Question:	ready to buy a new Bunn. Bad reviews on the model chosen reference to the epoxy smells had this been resolved
Answer:	Mine is Great . No smell at all. I really like the stainless steel pot and it automatically turns off . So you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off

Answer:	The depth is 12.5 inches, height is 15 inches. Easiest and quick coffee brewing. I had a ninja, was great at first but had issues and ninja replaced my first one after a year and the second one worked well for a year and half. So I went back to Bunn. Hope this helps!
