Answer:	This is not the coffee maker I bought. There was an issue with the description and the seller (not the same seller) sent me the one with the steel carafe. I called them and returned the steel carafe one. they replaced it with the model with the glass carafe. The glass carafe model has a hot plate underneath, the steel carafe does not. There are a lot of compliants about the steel carafe cooling off too fast. I love mine. Had it for over 2 years and it still works great.

Answer:	I’ve had this exact coffeemaker and it is worth every penny. It lasted me longer than 10 years and made perfect coffee every time. Part of the cost is the carafe which is roughly equivalent to a Yeti container, though not quite as good. The carafe alone sells for about $80. I miss my old Cuisinart Grind and Brew, and have gone through many others since, all with disappointing results. I can’t afford a new one of these right now, but you can be sure I’ll get by on the sub-par one I’m using now until I can afford a new one of these. There is no comparison on the market, in my opinion.

Answer:	Believe it or not it will work on almost all fans. The determining factor will be the size of top bracket. Most fans have a large enough pocket in the bracket for this to slide into. Answer:	I got introduced to the Jura because we have the Ena Micro 1 at my office. I love the coffee it makes and literally drink about 6 per day. I bought the A1 for home thinking it would be about the same, maybe slightly improved because of PEP and upgraded grinder. I was actually disappointed by the A1. I found that the coffee tasted weak (I used the same beans as we’d been using at the office), and just didn’t have as much flavor. I used it for about 10 days at home before ordering an Ena Micro 1 to try along side it before returning one of them because I thought it was possible I was imagining that the A1 wasn’t as good. I found that yes in fact even side by side the Ena Micro 1 just makes better tasting coffee, even after several cups, beans from the same bag (medium roast Toms Malawi), same grinder knob position (original default), and with water amount programmed the same. I know the A1 sounds awesome when you read the enhancements, but I really feel confident that the Ena makes stronger coffee that to me tastes better.
