If you are asking about the F203 blade grinder, then no, it is not recommended for pump espresso machines. A burr grinder (the GX5000) should give you a more consistent fine grind with less powder.

Answer:	The bottom of the bowl where the blade is, is metal for about 1/2" to 3/4" in the deepest part in the center. Above that it is white plastic and the smoky colored plastic cap fits down into this area while grinding. My new grinder has no chipping, and my old Krups grinder, (same design, purchased and used since the mid '80's!) has only one tiny bit of chipping on the very edge of the plastic cap. But it was used daily grinding coffee beans. My old grinder has held up over those 30 years better than I have. LOL! The cap on my old grinder did not cloud up over time.

I'm still pleased with the way it operates but have come to realize that grinding times need to be longer than the directions call for. I, too favor a fine grind so have been holding the grinding to a count of twenty (one one thousand, two one thousand, etc.). Sometimes it helps to pause at ten and shake the grinder lightly to ensure a thorough grinding with no left over whole beans. Enjoy!

Answer:	I've been using it with my Aeropress and a drip machine at work. Works great with the Aeropress, you can fine tune the heck out of the grind and it stays even, much more so than with a blade grinder. I paid for my grinder, but have been invited to Amazon Vine program and just recieved a french press to try out and just brewed my first batch using Nani's San Francisco blend beans with the OXO Brew on 13 (middle of coarse settings). I've been going keto with my diet, so heavy whiping cream and no sugar... tastes really good. I think if you plan on making good coffee, this is worth the investment. Wow, for a first shot at using a french press... that came out good.

Answer:	We’ve had this grinder for a couple of years and do struggle with static cling around the hopper. We also have found this model so hard to clean that today it actually went in the trash - not because it quit grinding but between the clinging mess and the difficulty cleaning it, both of which cause lingering stray grounds all over the place we had just had enough. There’s got to be a better way. And by the way although I can’t compare the noise to any other models, I can say this one is loud enough to drive the dog and the toddlers from the room.

Answer:	These other answers are ridiculous. I've had the grinder for 18 mos. Works great - but it's pretty loud. I'm not sure it's louder than other grinders, but these answers that say "pretty quiet" and "very quiet" are totally off base. Works great. Not "very or pretty" quiet
Question:	What is the material of the bottom container the grounds fall into? Plastic develops a charge that causes grounds to jump out and make a mess
Answer:	Yes. Amazon is overrun these days by fake reviews and it's only slightly better if they disclose they received a free product in exchange (as I do think a reviewer's time is worth something). I am now in the habit of going to a 3rd party, like Fakespot, to see if fake reviews are influencing overall rating of product. As of March 2019, Fakespot gave this product a "C" rating. I also like to read some of the middle grades to see what people like / hate about a product because most balanced reviews are going to have both positive and negative things to say.

Answer:	The grinder only operates on 110v. However I think plugging in to a 220v outlet is not a bad idea that way you can get your misery over right away. Don't buy this piece of junk. I never dropped it, whacked it with anything, or knocked it on anything but the palm of my hand to get spices out of it yet the cup on mine began to crack after less than a year of light use and after less than three years it just literally fell apart. I now own an Epica and love it.
Question:	What is the wattage of this grinder
Answer:	115 watts, 120V~60Hz 125W. I had a Hamilton Beach grinder for more than 10 years and it still works well, and got a 2nd one because I use it only to grind herbs and spices. So now that my other one that I use only for coffee broke from another maker broke, I am buying a 2nd Hamilton Beach grinder. It's not worth to spend more more if it works. The other one works well but I do not like using the same one for herbs and spices plus coffee. I like the front button, not on top, because it is better for my hand with arthritis.
Question:	I cannot pull the electric cord out of the grinder, the maximum lenght is 3 inches, I missed something? I tried push it in before pull it out, yank it
Answer:	Grab the bottom of the unit and pull down. The grey piece will slide down about an inch and allow you to UNROLL the cord from the holder. When the cord is unwrapped, push the grey piece back up - note that the cut out on the grey piece should allow the cord to dangle free. It's a simple procedure to reverse the process to re-wrap the cord when you are done.

Question:	can you put liquid in this? does the lid seal with the cup when the motor is running
Answer:	I tried using the wet grinder with the two blades for fresh herbs like basil etc and it did need a few tablespoons water to get it mixing properly. It works fine and is sealed within but once you take the cover off don't put it back on and continue mixing. That's the only time I had leakage because removing the lid causes the splashed liquid on the top inside to drip down so when the lid is placed on again it continues to drip down the sides

Question:	What's the warranty and where would you send it if needed
Answer:	I've never tried it for espresso, we use it strictly for Arabic(Turkish) coffee of which it grinds a beautifully consistent talcum powder consistency. Arabic (Turkish) coffee is the finest grind of coffee you can get, 100 microns or smaller, compared to normal espresso which is about 300 microns, so I believe this machine can easily grind a very good espresso as it is able to go 3 times finer if need be.We also thought we were going to have spend hundreds of dollars to get a fine enough grind for Arabic coffee and even then some of the $300 - $400 ones had complaints about not being small or consistent enough, but we are very happy with the fineness and consistency of this one. I hope this helps you decide.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the grinder
Answer:	Unless you're making fairly weak coffee, three 10oz cups will use about half a hopper's worth of beans. I use 50g of beans in a full 32oz press, and that's roughly 10 tbsp of beans or nearly half a hopper. In that respect, it's really not worth your while to fill the hopper to full on every second brew and rely on the timer for inconsistent results. It's better to do the initial work of finding a ratio of beans to water you like and then measuring out your beans each time. It takes only a few seconds and you get much better results.
Question:	How large is the grinding receptacle? Can I brew a full 14 cup pot of coffee with a single grind
Answer:	what happened here is that most likely it was put in upside down. Yes, it fits both ways. My wife did the same thing and you will not be able to jimmy it loose while this unit is assembled. You will need to take the outer casing off. First remove the ground coffee container, then turn the unit upside down. No screws here, just look for the five notches between the main unit and the casing. Next, take a small flat head screwdriver and gently wedge between casing and main body and try to casing casing a little at a time and then move to the next notch. this can be a bit tricky as I used several screwdrivers wedged in at the same time to accomplish this. The casing just sort of snaps into place and these notches are what holds it together. Once the casing is off I found it easier to work the timer detached from the casing. This is not required but is just easier to see what you have to work with, to remover the time just unscrew the two screws holding it to the casing with a #10 star screwdriver. From this point it is possible to get grinder loose, however you may need some further dis assemble the grinder. I actually had to loosen the entire burr grind assembly to loosen it up enough to free the top portion. To do this take a #20 star screwdriver to the dead center screw holding in the lower burr grinder (LBG) and unscrew it. You should be able too get the TBG loose at this time although with a little effort. Warning, there are ten pieces under that LBG (3 springs, 3 brass pieces, 3 ball barrings, and a circular plastic piece). The brass pieces go into the holes in the circular plastic and will fit snugly, the plastic piece obviously will go onto the spindle, the springs go inside the brass pieces, and the ball bearings on top of the springs. Gently align the indentations on the bottom of the LBG with the ball bearings. Now screw in your #20 star screw into the LBG, the try twisting the LBG by hand. It should only turn as a motorized unit, that is you will hear the motor turning with it. If it turns freely with no resistance go back and try again.
Question:	Are there any static electricity issues? Meaning, do the grounds make a mess when pulling out the container at the bottom
Answer:	I've purchased both the metal and the plastic housing models. I bought the metal one first, thinking it would be more durable. The housing certainly is more durable, but in use I found the plastic model has outlasted the metal one. The plastic model is lighter, making it easier to handle. The plastic model is also considerably quieter than the metal one. The lettering on the metal model rubs off with use, simply from handling it (not a problem with the plastic housing). I was disappointed when my first grinder (metal) developed a problem with the grind settings after about 2 years of daily use. Seeing that it didn't last as long as expected, I replaced it with the less expensive plastic model. That was in August 2011, and more than 6 years later I'm still using it every day. All things considered, I recommend the plastic housing model.

Answer:	I've abandoned the container bin grinding directly into the portafilter using a dosing funnel. There is zero mess. If you're not grinding for espresso, I suggest grinding directly into a shorter container the exact amount you need. The container bin is tight, so some residuals can spill from the head unit due to the jostling.

Answer:	No, the box says on it "120V - 60 Hz". I recommend another product, the "JavaPresse Manual Coffee Grinder, Conical Burr Mill, Brushed Stainless Steel", as a voltage-agnostic option. I had it for years before buying this electric one (and used it in multiple countries) and it worked great.

Answer:	Usually one scoop of ground coffee will do 4 cups of brewed coffee. I brew a pot every day. Fill the grinder with 2 loads of beans. That will last 2 or 3 days. Any more is more than intended.

Answer:	The Black & Decker container does not remove from the unit. In addition the electric cord kept falling out of the bottom. I purchased the Hamilton Beach model.
