10 best cuisinart grinders
Cuisinart offers a range of grinders, primarily known for their electric burr grinders and coffee grinders. These kitchen appliances are designed to grind various substances, with a primary focus on coffee beans. Here's what you need to know about Cuisinart grinders:
Electric Burr Grinders: Cuisinart's electric burr grinders are popular among coffee enthusiasts. They use burr grinding mechanisms to crush coffee beans into uniform-sized particles. This consistency is crucial for brewing high-quality coffee. Burr grinders typically offer different grind settings, allowing users to adjust the coarseness or fineness of the coffee grounds to suit their brewing method (e.g., French press, espresso, drip).
Coffee Grinders: Cuisinart also produces dedicated coffee grinders, which are designed specifically for grinding coffee beans. These grinders often come with various grind settings, allowing users to choose their preferred coffee grind size.
Blade Grinders: In addition to burr grinders, Cuisinart offers blade grinders. Blade grinders use a spinning blade to chop coffee beans into smaller pieces. While they are less precise than burr grinders, they are often more affordable and suitable for those who want a simple and budget-friendly way to grind coffee at home.
Multi-Purpose Use: While primarily used for coffee, Cuisinart grinders can also be used for grinding other substances, such as spices, herbs, and grains. Some models feature removable grinding chambers for easy cleaning and switching between different uses.
Capacity: Cuisinart grinders come in various sizes and capacities, ranging from small, compact units suitable for occasional use to larger grinders for more frequent grinding needs.
Customization: Many Cuisinart grinders allow users to customize the quantity of coffee or other substances they want to grind. Some models also feature timers or automatic shut-off functions for convenience.
Durable Construction: Cuisinart products are known for their build quality and durability.Their grinders typically feature stainless steel blades and components for longevity.
Brand Reputation: Cuisinart is a well-established and respected brand in the kitchen appliance industry, known for producing reliable and functional products.
Maintenance: Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential to keep Cuisinart grinders performing optimally. Regular cleaning and, in the case of burr grinders, occasional burr maintenance ensure consistent results.
In summary, Cuisinart grinders, including electric burr grinders and coffee grinders, are versatile kitchen appliances that are essential for coffee enthusiasts and anyone who wants to grind coffee beans or other substances at home. Their range of features, build quality, and customization options make them a popular choice for consumers looking to enhance their coffee and culinary experiences.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this grinder easy to clean |
Answer: | I grind flax seed with this grinder. It turns flax seed in to a fine pulp I use for my smoothies. I use two tablespoons of flax seeds in this grinder at a time, pulse it a few times and then run it continuously for about 10 or so seconds and the flax seeds are nicely ground. |
Question: | does it grind seeds |
Answer: | Grind 1 T. of dry, white rice and 1 T. baking soda together for a full minute. Empty it out, then wipe out the chamber with a damp (NOT WET) paper towel. (If any water gets past the blades and into the motor, it will seize and never run again.) Rice will clean the blades and the baking soda will help get rid of strong spice odors. |
Question: | Does it grind indian spices |
Answer: | Not on mine. it may fit some. |
Question: | I would like to grade walnuts and almonds for baking...can it grate them without them being all sticky |
Answer: | NO IT IS FAKE! The prongs are only 1 3/16”, but SKIL is 1 ¼” |

User questions & answers
Question: | How long is the cord on the coffee pot |
Answer: | I just went down stairs as this is the coffee pot we usually take on vacation and the cord is 33" long. |
Question: | Does the touchscren model have disc or true conical burrs |
Answer: | This has flat burr (disc). |
Question: | Where is this product made |
Answer: | China |
Question: | why are the reviews on a toaster page about a grinder |
Answer: | The product page has multiple items for sale by the same manufacturer, so all the reviews are lumped together. |
Question: | hased this grinder to do spices as described, but instructions say to do coffee only |
Answer: | When it was working it ground spices, I mainly used it for dehydrated habaneros, ghost peppers, tabasco and the like (my addiction, hot chilis!). I don't even drink coffee so didn't use it for that. When it was working it would ground the stuff ok, but leaked the ground up material up and out of the bowl. |
Question: | what's the capacity |
Answer: | The best response is absolutely lack of capacity. It just does not work, I don't recommend you throwing away your money on this item. Buy the Krups one |
Question: | what voltage is it? what is the country of origin |
Answer: | 110 volt 60 cycle (USA standard)...I did not think to check for country of manufacture, and am not home at the moment. |
Question: | Is it manual or auto operation |
Answer: | Manual. You hold the button to grind. The instruction manual has recommendations on how long to grind the coffee. I thought the manual operation might be annoying but it's really not. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What are the burrs made of ? Ceramic, stainless steel, carbon steel, zinc alloy, or what |
Answer: | Great headphones but no, they do not fold. |
Question: | Have you noticed if coffee grinds collect in the shoot |
Answer: | You do not need to switch. I think people are trying to use these like the 35 headphones. Which is why the are getting frustrated. Unlike those, you are not forced to switch between devices. It will automatically remember the last 8 devices you paired with. And if the device you want to pair with is set up to connect with it, it will do so automatically. It even will stay connected with two devices at the same time. These are much “smarter” technology than the 35. |
Question: | Is it possible to buy a replacement clear plastic part? My sister dropped and cracked that part, but still uses the machine. Want to replace it |
Answer: | It will work, but probably not well. They have a problem that keeps them from working reliably on Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing software when connected to Windows PCs or Macs. There is supposed to be a firmware update to fix this, but the first one that came out (1.4) caused worse problems, so they recalled it, and they have only promised a new version (1.5) but I haven't been able to actually find it anywhere as of Sept 13, 2020. Bose support is worse than useless. I'm giving up and returning them. |
Question: | Can the burrs be removed for cleaning |
Answer: | I found these to sound better. It may be because the Noise Reduction is slightly better. I have the QC35's and the Sony wh-1000xm3's. I find the Bose 700's to be superior to both even if you consider the sound quality of these to be equal due to the other features. The multipoint bluetooth makes them more attractive than the Sony's. The passthrough is simply amazing. With the headphones on it sounds as if you're not wearing headphones. I no longer use any other headphones. If it's not raining I'll even take them outside because I can hear safely. I just received the Echo Buds and love them. They are my backup when it's raining (I live in Seattle). |
