Answer:	DeLonghi stuff usually has a 1 year warranty. No telling where you'd have to send it, since they probably contract out warranty work in the states.

Answer:	While it would depend on how strong the finished product is and the quality of the beans to be ground, I would say yes, very easily. Since the grinding process is very quick, you could always grind more in a minute or two if you feel you don't have enough. Good Luck!

Answer:	I have not yet had any issues with static electricity. It creates a lot less of a mess than other coffee grinders I have used. The cup is a bit tight to pull out from underneath the grinder though. Despite this I prefer this coffee make over the other comparable grinders I have used.

Answer:	I've been using it with my Aeropress and a drip machine at work. Works great with the Aeropress, you can fine tune the heck out of the grind and it stays even, much more so than with a blade grinder. I paid for my grinder, but have been invited to Amazon Vine program and just recieved a french press to try out and just brewed my first batch using Nani's San Francisco blend beans with the OXO Brew on 13 (middle of coarse settings). I've been going keto with my diet, so heavy whiping cream and no sugar... tastes really good. I think if you plan on making good coffee, this is worth the investment. Wow, for a first shot at using a french press... that came out good.

Answer:	We’ve had this grinder for a couple of years and do struggle with static cling around the hopper. We also have found this model so hard to clean that today it actually went in the trash - not because it quit grinding but between the clinging mess and the difficulty cleaning it, both of which cause lingering stray grounds all over the place we had just had enough. There’s got to be a better way. And by the way although I can’t compare the noise to any other models, I can say this one is loud enough to drive the dog and the toddlers from the room.

Answer:	These other answers are ridiculous. I've had the grinder for 18 mos. Works great - but it's pretty loud. I'm not sure it's louder than other grinders, but these answers that say "pretty quiet" and "very quiet" are totally off base. Works great. Not "very or pretty" quiet

Answer:	Yes. Amazon is overrun these days by fake reviews and it's only slightly better if they disclose they received a free product in exchange (as I do think a reviewer's time is worth something). I am now in the habit of going to a 3rd party, like Fakespot, to see if fake reviews are influencing overall rating of product. As of March 2019, Fakespot gave this product a "C" rating. I also like to read some of the middle grades to see what people like / hate about a product because most balanced reviews are going to have both positive and negative things to say.

Answer:	This one is manual. I use it daily to grind coffee for my french press. It takes me less than 2 minutes to grind 1/4 of beans on a course setting. It is very east to clean and works great. I had a electric blade grinder with various setting, and it didn't have a consistent grind. I'm very pleased with this one.

Answer:	Glycerin is a byproduct of the soap making process. Sometimes the soap companies will scoop out the glycerin and sell it separately to make more money. Others like this one leave them in.

Answer:	the soap is about 2 1/2 by 2 1/2. you should have no problem fitting the soap in a vertical soap holder. good luck.

Answer:	The BCG820BKSXL Smart Grinder Pro differs from the BCG600SIL Dose Control in that the Smart Grinder is calibrated much more specifically towards espresso purposes, and while the Dose Control has espresso levels it does not share the same range for micro-adjustment as is often necessary to achieve higher end espresso results. Further internal and operational differences include functional differences in terms of programming, component and material upgrades, etc.
Question:	Just got this machine and every time I run it, it starts grinding, then slows down and makes a horrible knocking sound. Have to tear it apart..defect
Answer:	Mine did also when I first got it. I think there was a stone or some other defect in the coffee beans. I took off the top, removed the top burr and cleaned it. It has run fine since then. Removing the top and top burr is easy. If you have difficult with the instructions, there are plenty of videos showing how on youtube.

Answer:	To thoroughly remove any coffee oil residue, use a grinder cleaning product called, "Urnex" they also make a more "natural" version called, "Full Circle". They are cleaning tablets made just for burr coffee grinders. You just set the grinder to a medium to coarse setting, then add one capful of the tabs, grind them through, then use your brush to clean all the parts as usual. The tablets will sweep away any coffee grounds remaining inside the machine and absorb the leftover coffee oils that would become rancid if left behind. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Dunno where it’s made, I’d guess china. It grinds well, very even. But it makes a mess. The mesh point between the ground canister and the grinder isn’t snug enough and grounds go everywhere each time you take it out to put grounds into coffee maker. If I had a do-over I’d buy a more expensive model, hopefully one that was manufacturer more precisely.
Question:	My grinder uses a timer to dispense just the right amount for my French Press. Seems like Baraza will be more irritating work. Is it? How does it go
Answer:	The coursest setting is far too fine. I don't like it for pour-over and it would be awful for French press. I can't imagine it working well for cold brew.

Answer:	I used to have this problem with another brand of grinder. I used a long narrow strip of Al foil stuck in the ground coffee container of the unit and the other end lying on a damp sponge or towel on the counter. This disperses the static electricity and largely eliminates the problem. YMMV

Question:	Where is the adjustment for the level of grind
Answer:	It is in the gearing system for the actual grinder, kind of under the shaft the handle is attached to. You unscrew the nut on top, remove the handle, pull out a fork? that locks it in place, and then adjust from there. It basically requires disassembling it to adjust the grind, and there's no markings or anything to indicate what level of grind you're at, so you have to play around with it to figure out where to set it. If you get this err on the side of more coarse first, as you can always adjust and re-grind.

Answer:	Julie, Thank you for your enquiry into Meg & Mello’s manual burr coffee grinder. We have tried grinding coffee beans of all different fineness, but we have never tried grinding flaxseeds before. After receiving your question, we were on a quest to try. We were hopeful at first as flax seeds should be much easier to grind than coffee beans. But what we saw was sub-optimal. The flax seeds are too soft and small for the ceramic burr to do a good grinding job. The shells of the tiny seeds came off but the flax seeds were so light that they were not falling into the burr properly. Overall, I would not particularly recommend the usage of a ceramic burr grinder for the grinding of flax seeds. Best regards, Meg
Question:	How should this be cleaned? Dishwasher safe
Answer:	I would recommend a small soak in soapy water and then rinse under warm tap water. The jars can go into the dishwasher if you wish but not the burr grinder.

1.Secure the coffee bean hopper locked before you start to use.

2.It is suggested to clean the coffee grinder body and grinding wheel with a soft,wet cloth and dry the thoroughly every month.

3.Turn the Grinding Wheel counterclockwise to lock it into position until you hear the "click"!

NOTE: To prevent overheating, do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. Leave to cool for 3 minutes after every batch of operation

4.If the beans get stuck, it is recommended to try shaking the grinder, or get the beans out, then wait for a while and start again.

5.ONLY can be used under USA voltage standard 110V-120V, a voltage converter is needed if used in other countries.

Troubleshooting （Grinder can not work）

1. Long-time working may cause the machine to stop working.

To prevent overheating, do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. Leave to cool for 3 minutes after every batch of operation.

2. The grinding wheel was not locked into position.

Please turn the Grinding Wheel counterclockwise to lock it into position. When the grinding wheel is locking there will be a “ticking” sound.

3. The micro switch of the bean hopper and the coffee powder container might be in poor contact.

Plese try to install these 2 parts again.

Question:	My grinder stopped grinding this morning shook cleaned out no luck
Answer:	Mine has also stopped. It now makes a terrible sound when I turn it on, so clearly there is power, but it does not grind. This one lasted right at 2 years, my previous one (same model) only a few months. Time for me to find a new brand.
Question:	Does it have a setting for how many cups to grind
Answer:	On the lid is a diagram showing general conversions for seconds & cups depending on what grind you want. We grind with the setting just right of the middle and for one 20 second grind and one 5 second grind for 12 cups. Note, empty it after the first 20 second grind or the grind cup may overflow. You'll need to experiment with amount of coffee ground and grind setting for your taste.
Question:	If I break the glass receiver can I replace it
Answer:	The replacement part from Bodum is https://www.bodum.com/us/en/01-10903-01-32-component but it has been out of stock for 3 months. I emailed Bodum to complain because NOTHING takes three months to manufacturer. They said it will be in stock in June. To reply to another poster there IS NO LIST you can get on. Bodums solution? Check their web site daily and hope that "out of stock" changes to "in stock" and the hundreds of other people doing the same don't turn "in stock" back to "out of stock" before you know it. What a CRAPPY company to do business with.
Question:	Had anyone compared this to the Capresso Infinity? Which one do you prefer
Answer:	When I was buying my Bistro I found useful the review from coffeegearathome.com. They leaned for the Bodum bistro because:"It has a larger bean catcher capacity (11 oz vs only 4 oz for the Capresso).The Borosilicate glass is more helpful than you might think. It leads to less clean-up after grinding, that's always a plus!The silicone lid on the coffee ground container is a great addition to save the coffee for a longer time."The only advantage they found for the Capresso was that it has more grinding settings (16 compared wirh the 14 of the Bodum). All the time I have been using the Bodum, I can not imagine how 2 settings more would make it better or even be needed. The Bistro is an excellent choice.
