Answer:	A: No! Lids melt and misshape easily in the microwave. Leaving the lid slightly off center results in the lid forming a tight seal on its own, then melting during microwave operation.

Question:	Do the markings wear off
Answer:	What a good question! You know... had to go look at the 'collection' and here's the scoop; but some background first. Of all three 'sets' of Pyrex in the cupboard right now, there's an ANCIENT single 2-cup piece I've been schlepping around since B.C. (lol) another set purchased from Costco (many moons ago) and the new 3-piece set from Amazon (within the last year or so). The markings on the very old one are brighter (red) than either of the newer sets! The Costco set (markings in dark blue color) is the most worn (faded) but evenly so, still legible. The Amazon set markings are still bright red but... the logo (specifically the letter P of Pyrex) is different than either the Costco set or the single 2-cup relic, what I'm now going to call the 'real deal', which leads me to wonder if they're not knock-offs from China, even though marked 'made in the US' and just how long these will wear. So... markings are still strong on the Amazon set but.... highly suspect of authenticity and possibly longevity.
Question:	so I started using this measuring cup today and noticed that the handle is bent and it's not aligned with the pouring spout.is this normal
Answer:	NO! All the Pyrex measuring cups (2, 4, 8 cups) are sloppy when pouring. But the handles and pouring lips are aligned.
Question:	Hi! I broke my big pampered chef batter bowl & want to replace it with something. Anybody have both & like one over the other
Answer:	For glass, the Anchor Hocking Batter Bowl is what I prefer - it is a totally clear bowl with handle and marked with raised measure marks + plastic snap-on lid. (Around $15) Melamine mixing bowls- set of 3 with grip are also nice to use if you don’t like glass. The rubber gasket in the bottom makes them very secure. More expensive though...around $30.
Question:	Do these 3 items nest inside the large one for storage
Answer:	My 1 cups are in the kitchen, 'nesting' inside my 2-cups right now. I exercise caution with Glass-on-Glass, though... This isn't the old, sturdy Pyrex Borosilicate glass!
