Question:	What size bowl does this fit, the product and description conflict
Answer:	I am the product owner and the originator of the Butter Bell crock. Our product line has been around for 20 years and is manufactured using the highest quality materials and testing procedures to ensure the safety and durability of our product. We import the product into California, who has very strict regulatory standards (prop 65). We test our product and can assure everyone it is completely safe. By the way - don't just assume that because a product is made in the USA that it is safe either. All ceramic goods should be certified as food safe regardless of the country of origin.
Question:	How wide is the diameter of these lids? My old Pyrex chafing dishes are 4 1/2” across
Answer:	Just use a good quality liquid dish soap, (some are a lot better than others) and good"Hot" water to rinse with. I haven't had any problem. Also, I don't empty and wash every time it gets low.Just add some more butter and smooth it. I'm alone, so, if have several people making a mess you have a different problem.
Question:	do these lids fit anchor 2 cup bowls
Answer:	Full crock is about 4 1/2" tall with a 4" diameter. I place 1/4 cup ( 1stick) of butter in mine. May I please also add that this is the best thing that has ever happened to butter...don't forget to change the water!
