Answer:	Hi Spilly! When I make a streusel topped coffee cake, I pour the batter in the pan and top with streusel then bake. If you were to do that with this pan, your topping would be on the bottom of the cake. (Which sounds like a nice change) and you could sprinkle powdered sugar on top or some heated struesel goo! Or... I suppose you could bake the cake and add the topping after the cake is cooled and removed from the pan if you want the streusel on top. Hope this helps!

Our Story

Nordic Ware was founded in 1946 by a determined wife, Dotty, and her resourceful husband Dave, newly back from the second world war. With only $500 in their pockets, a few good ideas and a desire to create a business of their own, a humble kitchenware company was launched from the basement of their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the beginning, Nordic Ware’s product line was only a handful of items, all of which were specialty Scandinavian ethnic cookware products. But times have changed! 70 years later with a good measure of perseverance added, Nordic Ware is still proudly manufacturing the vast majority of its products in Minneapolis. Answer:	11 cups of water filled my pan to within 1/2 inch to the top.
Question:	I am new to baking. Is this the size you'd need for a typical bundt cake recipe
Answer:	Most regular bundt cake recipes call for a 10 -12 cup pan - not 2 1/2 cups.
Question:	Since this cake pan is a light colored on the inside, do your cakes come out lighter and prettier instead of dark brown? Thank you in advance
Answer:	I've only used mine a couple of times, and the cakes have come out looking like a layer or sheet cake in color.

Question:	How can i clean it, with time is becoming dark( brown) color
Answer:	Hmm none of mine have turned dark. Try liquid Barkeeper's friend. It is gentle and won't damage finish. May take time. I use this cleaner on all my stainless, range top, enamel, porcelain and antiques. If there is built up grease soak in hot water and then, using a gentle nylon scrubby, use the powdered Barkeeper's friend. Are you hand washing and drying immediately? I would suggest. AIso, I set mine on edge to be sure they are completely dry after drying. I never soak mind in water; as I've never had to. I wouldn't unless there is built up grease. Your water may have chlorine that is turning yours dark.
Question:	what are the outside dimensions
Answer:	The outside dimensions are approximately 8 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches.
Question:	What's the difference between this 9"x13" USA pan and the quick release one
Answer:	I bought this pan because it had the handles for easy lifting. I have not used it yet, but it has the same coating as the other pan to make release easier. I still spray the USA loaf pans that I use for baking bread. I will spray the 9 x 13 pan when I finally use it. Old habits die hard. 😉. I will always bake my cookies on the Silpat silicon baking mats even though the cookie sheets are also quick release. (And for cookies the baking time is one minute fewer than my AirBake cookie sheets that I replaced with the USA product.) What I see as the major difference is in the corners. The pan with the handles have corners that are more rounded. The other pan has corners with folded metal resulting in cakes and brownies with sharper and straighter corners. That would provide a more professional appearance in the baked goods. As a tip, after washing my USA pans (no abrasives- even Bon Ami!), I drain the water and return the pan to the oven that is still warm. When the water has evaporated I let the pans cool on the stove and then store them.
Question:	Can I use this for roast chicken or pork
Answer:	Yeah, I don't see why not as long as the meat fits. USA Pan recommends lining the pan with foil or a baking mat when roasting meats or veggies.
