Question:	Does anyone else have trouble getting the lid off? Is there a secret
Answer:	Looking at the pictures here on amazon, it appears that the company has tried to solve this problem by notching the lid where it locks to the pan. But if you have the old style lid without the notches, hopefully I can help. I have been fighting the lid for over a year. I always forget how I got the lid off the last time. The problem is that the lid has little plastic nubs on the edge that snaps over the rim of the pan. If you remember where these nubs are, you know where to apply pressure to pop the lid off. Last night, after fighting with the lid for over 5 minutes, an idea hit me. I got a permanent magic marker and boldly marked exactly where the nubs are. Now I simply pull the pan's long side against my body, place my fingers exactly where I marked the nubs, Then with fingers, firmly pry the nubs out and away from the pans rim, then the lid will lift off of the pan. The pictures in this ad shows a new lid that is notched at the nubs accomplishing what I did with a permanent marker on the old style lid.

Answer:	I'm unsure. I used this once and never used them again. It didn't work well for me doing cake pops. I had to use a different method. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. They are basic silicone and the dome goes over top and the mold doesnt lock. I have never made hard candy but if you are Making them flat on one side it may work but the stick only goes through the top of the mold.

• Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.

• Dishwasher use is not advised as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.

• Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.

• Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance
