Answer:	I love my pan and now that this question has been asked, I actually measured it and found that it is not exactly square (which doesn't matter in my opinion). Anyway, I wouldn't vouch for the accuracy of my measuring in a court of law but this is what I came up with: bottom of the pan 7 1/16" across in the handle direction and 7 1/4" the non-handle direction. top of the pan 8" across the handle directions and 8 1/4" the non-handle direction.
