I usually just wipe it down with a dry or damp towel; I usually don't roll stuff that makes a real mess, and having a little bit of flour on it does not bother me at all.

Answer:	You can. But I have never needed to do so since I have owned mine, I never immerse it in water.

Answer:	They are "supposed" to be oiled regularly. I oiled mine initially but haven't worried about it since. They age well with use, but DO NOT put them in the dishwasher. Just regular dish soap and water after each use is fine.

• I used to be a baking enthusiast, and like everyone else, I was influenced by my mother to use a traditional wooden rolling pin with a handle. Maybe it's my problem or the product itself, I can't keep these rolling pins well. Either the handle is broken, or the improper maintenance leads to moldy or curved rolling pins. Even though I use it with great care.
• Later, when I was at a friend's house, I occasionally saw his stainless steel rolling pin. I was worried very much that not having rolling handles would bother me, but after using it, you will immediately realize how silly those handles are. I also learned that he used to use a wooden traditional rolling pin, but because his friend ran a stainless steel factory, he got a sample of the rolling pin, and after using it, he could never go back to the original one.
