Answer:	This is overkill for a dynavap. You are definitely better off with something much smaller.

Question:	Can it produce a single flame? Pictures show a double flame. I don't want a double flame for soldering
Answer:	Brand doesn’t really matter but I have found using a butane that is at least triple refined makes a difference. I use either 5 or 7x refined.
Question:	Does it come filled? I couldn't figure out how to get mines to work
Answer:	No, but I did use it to do some soldering on wires used to prepare my car and trailer for electrical connections. It worked well in VERY confined places because the flame can be finely adjusted. This will be my go-to technique for soldering these kinds of connections in the future because it's much quicker than a traditional soldering gun. Other features, such as the constant on control and the igniter make this a very practical tool. I wish I'd learned about this decades ago!

Answer:	Nope, no need to manually open/close the valve. The trigger actually controls both the valve and the ignition - if you squeeze it very slowly you can tell that it opens the valve when partially squeezed and ignites when squeezed further. I have never had any problems with the valve failing to open and close when it's supposed to.

Answer:	Yes, the black parts you see are plastic. I have used this model extensively for half a year now, long enough and often enough that I've lost track of exactly how many bottles of butane I've gone through but I'm pretty sure the answer is 4 or 5. Not once have I noticed the handle heating up when I use it. I've even touched the ring above the trigger which is closest to the actual flame and if I notice any difference it's that it's actually slightly cooler than the handle because I haven't been holding it and transferring heat from my hands. We (as in humanity/product engineers) have been getting better and better at containing heat ever since we discovered the internal combustion engine. Most of us drive cars that have us sitting a couple feet away from a series of superheated fuel explosions, but even in the early days of automobiles this wasn't a huge issue. And as we've designed more complicated components that we want to be able to put near the engine block, we've gotten even better at it. Also, keep in mind that the fuel is being lit only at the very tip, it's just room temperature fuel till then, and the flame is directed away from the device. I'm outta butane right now or I'd test but I doubt even the metal part at the tip there doesn't get THAT hot.

Answer:	The 5.5 from Home Depot works, that is what I use. I assume larger bottles would work as long as the tip/injector/whatchamacallit is the same size.

Answer:	It is very easy to refill. You just press the filler spout from the butane can into a valve opening on the bottom of the torch and hold for about 10 seconds until liquid drops start splashing back.

Question:	Is it ok to use as light up candles
Answer:	Yes, Not flint. Decent quality.
Question:	What kind of fuel should I get for this torch
Answer:	It takes about 3 presses to fill mine to where it won’t take any more. I then used it on an aft deck of a cruise ship to light and keep trimming large ring 6 inch cigars in the breeze. It ran out in the middle of the 16th cigar. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is the back knob for
Answer:	They are easy to ignore to me. They have a thing the blocks the front and you slide it out the way and then you push the button. Make sure for that the blaze size is set to high. These are only good for lighting things close by. Not a grill or anything like that. These would not be good for soldering either. They do not get hot or a game big enough to be considered a torch lighter. These lighters are okay for lighting incense, cigs, if that's what you want it for, etc, but they cost too much to use for that unless you just want a refillable lighter. They probable have cheaper ones of that's all you want is a small lighter. I was expecting something else. These are not returnable, so I got stuck with these cheap made things.

How to use the red tool

Before filling gas, Please use the red plastic tools included in the package to drain any remaining butane fuel from the lighter by depressing the filling valve approximately 10 seconds. stand by 3-5 mins, then you can add your butane gas and start to use it.

Application

Turn the torch upside down, insert the butane pipe verticall. It will take 10 seconds to inject the butane into the torch

Refillable butane

After filling the butane, Use a torch after standing for 2-3 minutes.

When it comes with flame jumping or short flames, go to replenish it with butane gas

Press the button to light fire

Press the lock to keep the flame on

Slide the regulator to adjust flame intensity

Question:	Will the color come off
Answer:	I use Power 5x&it works awesome. U can get a case of 12 cans on Amazon for around $30. I've been buying&using this brand for a couple years now&buy it by the case(12). I use several different torches all day long&this Blazer torch is my favorite by far. I know I'm answering a question about the fuel used in this torch,but I have to say I would recommend this torch to ANYONE looking for an awesome,HOT,pin point torch. I use it more than any of the other 7 we use at work,i,including a dual head flame throwing torch. This Blazer blows all others out of the water! We have bought&returned more than 14 torches in the last yr&this is by far the favorite around the shop! 10 stars for this bad boy&the Power 5x brand fuel can't be beat for the price. I give the Power5x 10 stars as well!

Answer:	Mine has no safety what so ever
Question:	How do you adjust the flame? Can you adjust both the length of the flame as well as the intensity
Answer:	The lock feature isn’t a saftey lock it locks the gas on for some reason. Still love this thing tho.
