Answer: Yes, I took my dogs to the beach and after giving them a shower with the showers available at the beach and drying them down as best as we could. Answer: I am not sure about BBQ use. I agree with comment from 'carol' on Oct. 17, 2019. I would hate to damage this rack without knowing its BBQ tolerance first.

Answer: 13" long. It's hard to measure width because it pivots. Smallest width is 11 1/2". Max width is 14 1/2". I've done a 22lb turkey in this. Also 3 full rib racks.

Answer: This is not non stick. Stainless cleans so much easier. I got rid of my non stick ones.

Answer: I purchased this rack to replace my worn out non-stick rack which I use to cook turkeys that weigh 25 lbs. or more. When I received my order, the rack was in a box labeled "chicken rack. " The box itself was slightly over 12 inches. The rack I was replacing is 16 inches long so I didn't bother opening the box and returned it. From experience, I knew the rack I received was not big enough to accommodate a 25 ib. turkey.

Answer: I use it in my 18 quart roaster. Not sure on oval roaster.
Question: What grade stainless steel is this
Answer: The rack is not stainless or chrome. I bought it, I held it in my hand, I cooked with it. There's a big difference between stainless steel, chrome plated and black. The rack I have has some kind of black coating on it that chips off. There are other reviews that have the same problem.
