Answer:	They are paper. I wouldn’t. They probably would catch on fire. They also have a very strong chemical smell. I purchased them, tried to air them out and when that didn’t work, I tossed them.

Answer:	I see three conflicting answers. Having just started using this and the special bags, I can tell you my observation (on this old thread): 1. You need the special zip lock bags with a valved opening. 2. You just place the suction opening against the circular valve - Don't remove any "sticker." 3. You don't heat seal these bags, but rely on the zip lock to seal the top and the valve to block the vent hole. These will not be as good a regular bags that are sealed by heat, but they are quicker and easier to use, without the need for bulky equipment.

Answer:	Yes. I made muffins and cupcakes with them and there was no sticking. Great product.
Question:	I was given these as a gift but haven't used them yet. Do you remove them from the cupcake before serving or do you serve them with jackets on
Answer:	I left one on while frosting a cupcake and it was very messy and the sleave is built very well and thick, but this makes it difficult to eat from. So I would remove them first.
Question:	The smell of silicone was so strong I couldn't stand it. I tried washing them but the smell is still there. Any suggestions
Answer:	Wash with baking soda and warm water and rinse and let dry. Then put them in a new plastic container with a lid, and place individually and upright, with 2 or 3 COTTON balls lightly soaked in vanilla extract. Keep them in container for 3 days and silicone smell should be gone!
Question:	Has anyone done the pinch test on these? Did it turn white-ish
Answer:	If it’s colored, it’s not pure silicone. It’s silicone with at minimum color added. The pinch test is not a scientific test, nor is it reliable.

Overall this was a really great purchase for us!

Answer:	I wouldn’t recommend them for mini cheesecakes unless they are pre-made and you are just putting them in these for decoration. Just for reference, they are the size of a standard cupcake. Hope that helps.
