Answer:	No, it is 8 1/2 inches wide for the drip pan (measuring from inside of the pan). I have used this pan quite a few times and I just love it. If you have the money to buy the best out there, go for the Staub Cast-Iron Vertical Chicken Roaster. With the Nordic Ware you have to be careful of the opening on the chicken. If the whole is too small it will not fit over the fitting. The Staub is pricey, but will last a life time and will fit any size opening on a chicken.

Answer:	No Nordic Ware products are no PTFE, no PFOA and contains no Teflon.

Answer:	I’m not sure what kind of Teflon the other commentor said was coming off??? I bought mine for braised short ribs, I use it on the stove top (mines elec glass top) handles the heat fine. Used multiple times no problem. Just so you know my use was at med-hi about 6.5 to 7 on the dial. I seer then lower temp just a little and do a wine reduction so it’s exposed to direct heat for a good 30-40 minutes very happy with quality. I will be buying a larger size to replace my old turkey pan.

Answer:	This pan measures at 18" (L) x 13" (W) x 3.73" (H).

Answer:	I haven't used it to broil anything. And, I've only used mine a few times for baking. Having not used it much, I don't want to say anything about using it to broil. If it were me, I'd line it with heavy-duty foil, and likely a rack, for broiling.

Answer:	I think it will. It’s huge and heavy duty but surprisingly easy to lift. I roasted a 15-pound prime rib in it last Christmas and there was plenty of room to spare. Great roaster!

Answer:	Hi. The finish on mine came off during its first use. I threw away the chicken over fear of the residue may hurt my family...so hand washed it. Looks terrible after wash.

Answer:	The secret to that is to never mistake the package dimensions for the product size. You are correct though, they do need to do more to scale things for size like familiar objects in the product photo to gauge them.

Answer:	The rack has a coating and the small print says do not use above 400 degrees. I had to buy another uncoated rack for high temp roasting.

Answer:	I don’t think so. The sheet pan quality is excellent. The deluxe part is I guess the oven rack. But the rack is not made by Nordic ware and is covered in a cheap non stick coating that is only oven safe until 400. I ended up having to buy a better quality rack that was stainless steel and oven safe to 500.

Answer:	It is very sharp on the edges. Please be careful cleaning it by hand. BUT having said that, the bottom surface legs are smooth. For normal use, e.g., roasting and cooking, it has never caused my non-stick roasting pan to be scratched at all and I've used mine so many years it was necessary to purchase another one due to general wear and tear. Therefore I can confidently say it generally doesn't scratch the surface of non-stick roasting pans.
