Answer:	The rule of thumb is - If you want the oil away from your food, use the rack and line the pan with foil/parchment. Like baking/reheating bacon, you want the oil drip to the bottom of the pan away from your food. If you cooking fish, you might not want to keep on the rack. They are very fragile. Then you would place the fish on the pan lined with foil/parchment. I hope that helps.

Question:	can i use this in a charcoal grill as a drip pan with applesauce or water
Answer:	No this roasting rack will not work with an oval 7 qt. Crockpot. It is slightly too long and the corners are not narrow enough to fit either. For my oval crockpot I use an 8 by 6 inch OVAL rack. The beef roast, pork roast or roasting hen can be larger than the rack used as the rack is meant to just keep items out of the liquids. This rack I purchased for my medium sized oval turkey roaster (12 lbs or less) and it works fine for that purpose.

Answer:	The description said it was chrome which means it’s plated and most likely the base material is mild steel. Not stainless but will perform as a cooking rack just fine.

Answer:	Hi, Book Lover # 52. I made the doughnuts and they came out rounded. I think it's the baking powder or whatever rising ingredients are in your recipe. You don't need a second pan - just fill like a muffin pan. My recipe called for me to fill the holes 2/3 full. They came out really nice.

Allow to sit in pan for 5 minutes before removing, it helps to have more than one of these pans to cut down on idle time. I looked around a little more and found 9" round Wilton Decorator Preferred pans that have straight walls. So you want the Decorator Preferred. What size do you need? It seems that Wilton has discontinued the 9" size.

Answer:	Hello, the exterior dimensions of the pan is 12 x 10 x 1 inch, but I suggest you can buy another size 10 x 9 x 1 inch. Thank you!
Question:	Has anyone found silicone mats to fit the eighth sheet
Answer:	I looked for the country of origin on the Amazon site and then on packaging when it arrived...nothing. Some research on the web leads me to believe they are made by a company in China. They are very well made and even beautiful, but I do wish the country of origin was clearly marked.
Question:	What are the inside dimensions of this pan
Answer:	The site states 18/0 stainless which means it contains no nickel (the latter of which is expensive) and which is sometimes called 430 stainless steel. It is slightly more subject to corrosion than 18/8 or 18/10 which are used for eating utensils. It is somewhat magnetic. From what I have read, that is not a determinant of whether it's food grade or not. Furthermore, if you check Amazon and restaurant supply sites, most baking pans are made of 18/0. That's all I know and have stated it as clearly as I can.

Use and Care for Natural Aluminum

• Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.

• Dishwasher use is not advised as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.

• Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.

• Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance

• Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.
