Answer:	I have not washed it, but I see no reason why it can't be washed on a gentle cycle and then just fluff dry. I wouldn't want to shrink it as it is just the right size for a standard ironing board right now.

Answer:	The one I have has elastic, but I also am using the elastic clips that hold the opposite sides together. I had them from my old cover, and just put them on this new one. The cover is well padded and cute. Wish I would have gotten it years ago!

Answer:	It's equivilant to a thick pot holder, about 1/4" thick, I use it for my Cricut Press to do iron-ons. It can also be used for your table as a hot pad for hot dishes.

Answer:	I have a regular size ironing board and it it fix fine. About 4 feet long and 12 to 18 inches wide if I had to guess, it has a stretchy sides so it fit snug not loose.

Answer:	I see I have 3 cover pads on my board because I like the feeling of the board better that way (probably will do away with 1 or 2 them when I "re-cover" next time. And YES, I use the clips on the covers to pull it taunt on the board. I am 73 and have been ironing since I was a kid---I know others don't do ironing so much anymore, and I think that is fine. To each his own, but I like to use the clips! Have fun!!!
